I don't even know where to begin with how thankful we are for Superhero Dog Academy! Our pups had some reactivity issues and just lacking some general obedience skills, but Libby has taught us how to be better owners and teachers to our pups. Our one dog that stayed for a board and train program for a week has made SO much progress! We are so proud and know we couldn't have done this without the help of Libby and Mia and their patience as they worked with us and the boys. We are forever grateful for Auntie Libby and Auntie Mia! Libby is amazing! She has a huge wealth of experience at training dogs (and people), and it shows. When we started with her we'd been doing some research and training on our own, but our training progress got so much faster after getting Libby's insights into the nuanced what's and why's of how our dog Mae sees and responds to the world. If we were driving a beat up VW van at 50 MPH in the slow lane before, we're now flying a supersonic jet. Couldn't recommend her enough. She's gonna make you work, so get ready to really commit to the process. If you do, you'll get to where you're going so much faster, and with a much keener insight into your dog's emotions and behavior than you ever had before.

Aunt Libby is the best!! We really appreciated how her training style is centered around positive reinforcement rather than punishment. From the very first consultation, Libby showed she had a way with dogs and our puppy Stella was obsessed with her. Every session we’ve had with her since then has had a huge impact on Stella’s training. Libby emphasizes the ‘why’ behind their behavior too instead of just focusing on how to correct it, so that you can better understand your dog. We loved that the sessions were focused on training us so we could have the tools to keep it up when she wasn’t around. It’s also so nice that she’s available for questions over text, and she’s so responsive! It’s been great being able to get her opinion on if certain situations warrant a vet visit, or her tips on how to teach Stella a certain trick. We are so happy we went with Libby for training, and can’t recommend her enough!

We have worked with Superhero Dog Training, Auntie Libby and Auntie Mia (as they are known to my dog), for close to a year. They are so amazing, patient and they treat my boy like he is one of their own. The most valuable thing I have learned from training is how to communicate with my dog. Once I was trained (me the human was trained! 😆), I my dogs behavior made total sense. I am less frustrated and I know how to get good behavior from my dog.
