We have two dogs a rescue mix and a younger Great Pyrenees who needed behavioral work when a previous harmonious relationship turned difficult as the younger dog became dominant . Stasia very skillfully guided us through a six session program that allowed for a resumption of peace and tranquility in our house . Her knowledge of dog behavior combined with her bright and sunny disposition was just what was needed . She came to the house to allow us to work on the triggers in our home environment rather than having to go to a remote training site . In fact many dog obedience programs will not even take on a dog once reactivity is mentioned in my search for a trainer before finding Stasia . All in all my highest recommendations for what she helped us solve .

Stasia has been working with our boy Maverick since he was about 13 weeks or so! We have been so incredibly happy with how far Maverick has come in his training and the expertise Stasia incorporated into every session, discussions we had along with any issues we were encountering at home among the way! Our experience with Stasia has been incredible. I highly recommend her for any type of dog training. Maggie (pictured) and I recently completed the 1-on-1 6-week basic obedience training. It was the perfect starting place for Maggie, our newly adopted Plott Hound mix. As Maggie and I refine the skills we learned, I intend to hire Stasia again to work on additional skills (Maggie seems to love learning!). Stasia’s science-based approach and impressive education sets her apart from other trainers. She takes time to learn the dog based on her interactions, information from the owner, and knowledge of the breed. Then, she creates individualized lessons tailored to the dog and the owner. She taught me not only how to train the basic obedience commands but also the psychology behind the techniques. This made Maggie’s breed and unique quirks easier to understand and work with. She’s been a valuable resource to us and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Stasia is an angel! We rescued a dog from the shelter about 6 months ago that started having reactivity issues. My husband and I have never dealt with this before with our other rescues, so we were really fearful and at a loss of what to do. Luckily, we found Stasia and Synapse Canine Center, and I am not sure what outcome us or our dog would have had without her.
