Tactical Treats and Training

Ryan and Gianna are amazing trainers! I first took my pup in last year for a 2 week board and train since I had just adopted her as a former stray. We worked on her confidence on stairs and she had a bad habit of eating cigarette butts. She boarded with them when I traveled for work and loves going there! She had to go back in for more training recently after having two surgeries for removing obstructions (eating already destroyed balls at the dog park). Thank goodness for pet insurance but training was needed. I think she fell more in love with Ryan this time around! They are wonderful humans and even better dog trainers and behaviorists. I can't wait for their expanded services!

i adopted a young huskey.couldnt even take him outside on a leash without being pulled to my knees 2 weeks after training he heals sits stays and i can take him anywhere and not worry about him getting away. and he was always glad to see them when we went back for our 2nd week .spent alot of time teaching me also never rushed always made sure i was confident with what they were teaching me and my dog.cant say enough how wonderful they are

We took Nicky to Ryan and Gianna for board and train, and we can’t say enough good things about them!! They were professional, incredible trainers, took amazing care of our boy, gave us tools to continue succeeding at home, and even traveled to us over an hour when a new issue arose that we needed help with. They continue to be responsive and really care about Nicky’s progress and that we continue to build on the strong foundation they helped to instill. We’re so lucky we found them!

I could not recommend Tactical Treats more highly!! We adopted our dog, Carson, when he was two years old, and although sweet and smart, he was also stubborn and had a number of behavioral issues (destructive with items around the house, anxious and reactive on walks, etc). A previous trainer basically said he needed to be walked a ton more, but when that didn’t work, I reached out to Gianna at Tactical Treats and am SO grateful I did. Carson just completed a four-day daily training with them and is a completely different dog. I had my doubts about what could be accomplished in four days, but they completely blew any wishful thinking I had out of the water (after *one* day I could see a difference!). I’m truly amazed (and so, so, so thankful). Carson also has a distaste for car rides — and would lock his legs any time he sensed going for a ride, but after the first two days of training, he hopped right in because he knew where we were going and genuinely enjoyed his time with Gianna and Ryan. They truly love what they do and understand the psychology of dogs, which makes them so skilled at it. Text updates, photos and videos came throughout each day (you can see Carson on their YouTube channel — which is also a great resource for making sure I know what to do at home!), and they’re always just a text away and never make you feel like a bother. They go above and beyond any expectations (Gianna is also helping with some food allergy issues we’ve been struggling with). It feels like a totally different experience at home, without the stress of managing Carson’s behavioral struggles and feeling like we were constantly on the defense. I highly, highly (highly!) recommend to anyone looking for help with their dog — they work wonders!!

Gianna & Ryan are exceptional trainers. We enrolled our 8 month old pup in the 2 week course, amazed at what WE learned as well as our dog. Gianna explains the why and how with the training which is very helpful. Gianna is the most patient, calm speaking trainer we have ever witnessed, our dog loved and listened to her every command. We had many trainers over the years for other dogs, she is the best! She provided updates at pick up everyday and videos when needed. We highly recommend Tactical Treats and Training.
