Tactical Treats and Training

2-week program Review: I am not a habitual reviewer, but I was compelled to do so out of gratitude, and the hope that this is helpful to anyone reading. 1. The principles of discipline and love for the animals are cornerstones of their program and training experience; meaning that the training is strict enough to see very rapid progress, but done with love and compassion for the animals. I was afraid that my dog was going to have a hard time coming back for the second week. Well, she just went running back wagging her tail to Gianna’s door at her facility. 2. Extremely personalized. They take the time to go over every aspect of your dog’s life, including nutrition, safety, and well being. 3. You can get as little or as much involved as you want as a dog owner. In other words, you will not get harassed or overwhelmed with information if you are not interested. 4. Very professional and respectful. You will not be sold any product or program, or, most important, steered in any way to change your lifestyle or your “parenting style “. Again, you take or leave as much as you want. 5. They genuinely care about you and your dog. They have followed up with us weeks after the training, and offer consultations at any time. ABSOLUTELY recommend.

Finding Gianna has seriously been a miracle. I rescued my 3.5 year old labradoodle a few months ago with no training. He had problems with digestion, obedience, separation, leash pulling, and more. We’re just over halfway done with our 8 week course and he is a new dog in the best way possible. All of her recommendations have been spot on. From diet change to commands and more. My 100+ lb boy is now the easiest to walk, no pulling, walks at my heel, easily walking past distractions or territorial dogs. He listens to his new set of commands easily and happily with the methods Gianna taught us. She always gives recommendations for in home practice and other resources that have been helpful to us on our training journey. She answers any questions, even on days when we aren’t in session. Jasper is always so excited to go to his class and see Gianna, you can tell she truly cares about dogs and their well-being. I am beyond happy and grateful for how far she has help us come and can’t wait to see what else he learns when we finish our sessions!

I walked in for some information on their services and omg it was one of the worst experiences. I told them I have a 3 year old golden retriever that I’m trying to get certified as an emotional support dog. I walked in with shorts and black shirt and I feel like they profiled me incorrectly. They didn’t invite me in. They gave me a business card told me the number changed but didn’t give me a new number. When I asked for an estimate they said it would be anywhere between $1000- $3000 for the FIRST TWO WEEKS only. Mind you I’ve had my dog since a baby he’s 3 I’ve fully trained him myself super friendly and they couldn’t even shake my hand. If that’s their real prices that’s a total RIPOFF. Please stay away! Working with Gianna and Ryan was the best decision we made for our dog! Bo has seperatation anxiety and was reactive in social situations. After spending time with Gianna, he was able to build his confidence and is no longer reactive (scared, barking) in social situations. We are now able to bring him with us to different places without the stress of how he is going to behave. He truly has a better life because of of Tactical treats training and I couldn't recommend it enough to those considering!

We have a 1.5 year old German Shepherd that we rescued who came with little training. While we did what we could training wise when first getting her, we knew that she would need help from a trainer as she has some reactivity towards dogs and focus issues. So far we are 5 sessions in and there has already been a major improvement! Walking is a breeze now and she’s no longer pulling or getting far ahead of us. Inside the house we’re getting Iris to focus/listen more and can even have her stay in place for an hour with no corrections. While we know that Iris’s issues are going to take longer to work on than the 8 sessions we’ve booked, Gianna and Ryan and have given us so much help and the tools necessary to work on this! I highly recommend them!
