Kimberly is amazing! I have a 85 + pound European Doberman puppy and i was so far out of my league and overwhelmed with him and at my whits end. From the very first lesson I was given practical, easy to use tips that helped me just manage him from day to day. He is now able to walk without yanking my arm out, he’s much more confident and not as clingy, and is just becoming an all around perfect dog. Mac was a rescue and a little insecure, he was fearful of people that he didn’t know and i was worried his fear would turn into aggression. She helped me recognize his insecurities and gave me the tools i needed to help him become a happy, healthy, balanced dog. I had contacted other trainers before Kimberly and they told me because Mac was 2 years old that he was already set in his ways and he couldn’t be trained, that was not the case and I’m so glad i found Take The Lead. I can’t say enough about Kimberly and Take The Lead it was such an amazing experience.

My wife and I rescued a shepard/husky who was living under a bridge at LAX. He had been there for months and was mostly Farrel, was aggressive toward other people outside of the immediate family, had major anxiety and confidence issues. With Kimberly's help and guidance our dog is now very well behaved, way more social with people outside the family and is becoming the amazing dog we knew he could be.
