Late 2024, just before the new year, I had the pleasure of getting to know Abigail. I was feeling the strain of isolation due to illness. I needed a companion; not just any companion either. I have special needs due to a rare lung condition, so the breed had to be just right. After many conversations and a lot of careful considerations, Abigail invited me over to meet Snickers whom I now call Ellapeditah. Ella had a rough background and would need to be an only. Abigail helped my fur-panion overcome fear and aggressive tendencies. Then she did some off-leash train with her for me. Today, just over a year later, I have a constant loyal companion in Ellapeditah; she’s happy running OFF-LEASH, minding the boundaries and coming 99% of the time. The other one percent, well she will take her time, but she comes. I give her that. I thank God for Abigail. She is compassionate, professional and very good at what she does! Did I mention that, out of the kindness of her heart, Abigail gave me Snickers/Ellapeditah free-of-charge?! She did. I didn’t have to return her after our two week trial in late January of 2025. Thanks for all you do, Abigail.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Abigail! She was incredibly flexible and worked around my hectic work schedule, plus traveled to our home for the sessions, which made the entire process so convenient for us. We were specifically struggling with food aggression in our 10 month old Labrador puppy. it was to the point of us being concerned that she may snap at a child or anyone around her food. In just 2 sessions, the issue was completely resolved. Of course, we had to put in the work as owners, but it was so relieving to see the transformation. What truly set her apart is how she trains YOU as an owner as much as she trains your dog. She has such a deep understanding (and clearly love) of K9 behavior and explains how dogs think in a way that’s easy to grasp and actually apply to every day life. It completely changed how we communicate with our pup. Abigail is patient, knowledgeable, and truly gifted at what she does. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a dog trainer!

We had an excellent experience with TCC and couldnt be happier with the results. I had two larger dogs go through the 6 weeks advanced board to train course. Throughout that time, Abigail was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly very experienced with dogs of different temperaments and energy levels. She’s very well versed in dog language. The communication was solid, she would send updates through out the week multiple times with videos and photos of their progress. The transition back home was handled with care and guidance so I knew how to maintain progress as we went. Abigail is very patient not just with the dogs but with me as well. It’s a learning process for you and your dog. I saw improvements in structure, responsiveness, and overall behavior that had lasted long term. I would absolutely recommend TCC to anyone looking to train their dog in basic and or advanced obedience.
