We sent our dog Vader to get trained. He is a 9 month old Cane Corso intact male. We were having problems with basic obedience and aggression. It was so bad we were worried that we might have to re home him. Abby had him for 6 weeks. When he came home our prayer were answered. He is a completely different dog. We love Vader and are very thankful that he is manageable now!! Would give 10 stars I if I could!!!

I just got my GSD Otto back yesterday from the 6 week advanced board and train program, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. I could take forever and go into details about how well his actual training went (which it did), but the star of the show is Abigail. You hear all kinds of horror stories about animals being boarded and trained, so I had a lot of anxiety about sending my baby away for 6 weeks. I did a lot of research before hand and felt really good about sending him here, but when I met Abigail for the first time she helped ease my anxiety so much. The way she talked to me, the way she talked to him and the other dogs just really put me at ease. Plus the videos and pictures she regularly sends helped so so much. I’d recommend this place to anyone that’s interested in dog training, and I’d 100% bring another dog here if I ever decide to get a second.

Our first experiences with Texas Canine Training were in-home visits for our rescue dog about 18 months ago. Since then, we’ve boarded our dogs with them lots of times and had more in-home lessons. We just picked up one of our dogs from board and train and couldn’t be happier with the results. She’s obviously been well-trained and we feel well-trained too, so we can follow-up at home to maintain what she learned. We love our dogs and enjoy them so much more when we understand them better and have skills for managing the energetic dog behavior. We’re so appreciative of the expertise and careful attention. The services are worth every penny for the peace they give us knowing we won’t have to wrestle a golden retriever to keep her paws off all the people she wants to hug every time we’re in public!

I can’t say enough good things about Abagail!! She is a sweet person and an exceptional dog trainer! Her facility is secure, clean and well-kept. Her technique is positive reinforcement. She sends almost daily texts and videos to keep you updated on your fur baby’s progress. My anxious rescue mixed breed, Penny, loved her! She made so much progress during her 5 week intermediate program, and we get follow-up afterward to help hone my skills as an owner. Definitely would recommend!!!
