Our problem dog is Midge... poodle, 5lbs, 4 years old, too cute for her own good & goes totally ballistic when she sees another dog (but only with us). After coming home from a three week road trip with Midge, I had to have a solution. We had tried a trainer when this problem first showed up at one year. Obviously, the problem was not solved. When I read Abigail's reviews, I finally had some new hope. We had already read many books & watched tons of videos trying to find a solution. What we really needed was Abigail's evaluation of the situation & training corrections! I sent Abigail a list of what I thought were Midge's good & bad qualities before our first meeting. From that list & about ten minutes with us, she was able to define why Midge was acting as she does. We immediately started in on exercises to change the behavior pattern. We worked hard at home, following through with the things we learned at each lesson. We were able to schedule lessons as we felt Midge was progressing. We felt no rush. Abigail was also great at answering questions when I would text with the "what do I do in this situation?" We have not only made great progress reconditioning Midge's reactivity, but we have also learned so much more. She no longer pulls when we walk. She even sits when we stop walking (she knows the word "sit" but absolutely refused except for a treat). The things we have learned from Abigail seem so logical, but we never saw it before her pointing it out to us. She has also worked hard to give us different situations to work through, which has been so helpful once we are "out on our own" training. Abigail is extremely gifted with a natural ability to look at a dog, the situation & see the problem. She is very compassionate towards dogs and teaches you how to understand their behavior within the situation. We chose the lessons where we were involved in the training mainly because we knew we were the problem. I definitely would not have any reservations about leaving my dog in Abigail's hands. Lastly, I'm very grateful that after our lessons are completed, we are not left to our own future. Abigail provides a monthly gathering for owners & dogs who have trained with her to get together & continue working on their dog/owner issues. We are so glad we made the decision to seek Abigail's help. If you think there is no hope, I'm here to tell you there is!

I can't recommend Abigail enough! From the moment I enrolled my German Shepherd, Hades, into the off-leash training, the results have been remarkable. Abigail is not only an expert in the field but also incredibly patient and understanding. She is always available for any question you may have and sends you update photos/videos. She made me feel at ease and having to leave your fur baby for five weeks, that’s a huge deal. I knew my pup was safe with her! Hades has transformed from a mischievous pup into a well-behaved companion. The techniques they use are effective, and the positive reinforcement methods make the learning process enjoyable for both the dog and myself. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, creating a safe and comfortable environment for training. If you want the best for your canine companion, this dog training program is the way to go. I cannot recommend Abigail enough.
