We were desperately seeking training help for our 4 month old Goldendoodle who was just too wild to manage on our own with our two children (one being a toddler). From the minute I reached out to Liz she was understanding, kind, and willing to help. We opted for the four week boarding puppy training, and while no dog training is inexpensive, I found her price to be extremely reasonable for the market. Even better were the results! Liz did an exceptional job working with our puppy and dropped him off to train us on his training. :). It has made a world of difference having him in our home with our children now! We are so much happier as a family now that we have a puppy who knows his commands and will listen. He’s still a stubborn golden doodle and will try to test us since he’s only 5 months old; however, he is definitely trained and so much easier to manage! Liz has continued to follow up since our puppy left her home and she is helpful and always so sweet! I only wish I had found Liz earlier and I am certain we will eventually send our dog back to her for off-leash training. I highly recommend Liz and Texas K-9 Academy to anyone looking for effective training with real results!

We took our 7 year old rescue Lab, Henry, to Liz for extended training. He had pretty bad anxiety and practically no obedience. I was worried that our older dog would be too set in his ways to change but Liz and Henry proved me wrong! He stayed with Liz and her family for 5 weeks. When we dropped him off, I could tell he would be in good hands. Liz is so calm and talked with us for a long time to ease our nerves about leaving him. Henry came home so much improved I couldn’t believe it! And Liz came back out to house for more training sessions to work with us. And she’s always available for questions and advice. Liz definitely knows dogs. One of the most renowned breeders of Labs in the country sends her puppies to Liz for training and that says a lot! We are so grateful we found her!

We hired Liz and it was the best decision ever! We were desperate because one of our 3 year old labs, who’d been oxygen deprived at birth, didn’t seem capable of learning even a basic command like 'sit'. Our other 3 year old also needed to be taught not to jump on people for attention. Liz came to the rescue and our dogs learnt more commands and manners than we’d ever thought possible! Even the one we thought would never learn a thing, did brilliantly. Clearly, Liz has a natural way with dogs and her kind & gentle methods really do work!
