What ages of dogs can you train at The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training?
We train dogs at any age, from young puppies to senior dogs. Private lessons are open to dogs of all ages, and we tailor each program to your dog’s age, breed, and individual behavior needs. For our Board & Train program, dogs must be at least 4 months old. Beyond that, there is no dog too old for training — we work with adolescent, adult, and senior dogs every day. If your dog needs early socialization, obedience, or a full behavior reset, we’ll help you choose the right program for their stage of life.

How much does board and train cost in Tupelo?
Our Board & Train programs start at $1,820 for basic training. Pricing increases based on the level of training you choose. We also create custom programs when a dog requires additional time or specialized behavioral work. Do you accept puppies in daycare in Tupelo?
Yes, we welcome puppies 4 months and older into our daycare program as long as they are appropriately vaccinated. At this age, puppies are developmentally ready for structured socialization, clear boundaries, and calm play around other dogs. Our trained staff ensures a safe, supervised environment so young dogs build confidence and good habits from the start. If you’re unsure whether your puppy is ready, we’re happy to help you decide.

Our dog Kevin came back from training with his personality in tact. We were given the tools to be successful at home. We received daily updates during training and were equipped with educational materials to be successful once our pup came back. This is by far the best training program I have ever done for my dogs, and I’ve owned dogs for over 20 years. We drove three hours to see Bryan and his team and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Our pup Kevin is adjusting well to being back home and quickly applying what he learned in training to his home environment. This has been so helpful to have such a well mannered pup as our other dog is currently recovering from surgery. I can’t thank Bryan and his team enough for all of the guidance and support he gave me and my dog. We will be returning for refresher courses and to take our other dog Bernie next and all our future dogs to come!
Brian has trained both my Poodle and Doodle. I’ve also have boarded with them while I’m out of town. I couldn’t ask for a better establishment. Brain and his crew are awesome with the pups. Their training is top notch.Thank you Brain and Crew.

I recently took my five month old Goldendoodle to The Academy for Canine Behavior and Training. I was introduced to a team of very professional and caring training team. They kept me updated on her progress everyday and responded to any questions I had. When it was time to take my puppy home, they trained me and made sure I understood my part in the training and care of my puppy. They also offer free refresher sessions for the remainder of her life. They exceeded my expectations and the cost was very reasonable for the fantastic experience for me and my puppy!!

I am absolutely delighted with the results we got from Molly's two week training at The Academy for Behavior Training. She went in as a wild child and came home a well behaved young lady. They definitely tamed the wild while keeping her personality. The program is well worth the cost and then some. Not only was she given the basics but she also has the option to have free refresher classes every other Saturday for the rest of her life; that is unbelievable. The trainers are dedicated to making the training work. Nick, my trainer, constantly via texts, kept us in the loop on Molly's progress. He was wonderful. If you're thinking of training, you can't find a better facility. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
