Don’t pre-pay. Pay per class if you don’t wanna be screwed out of over $1000 like me. If I could give no stars for the type of businesses is I would. The trainers are great, but that’s not all you need. I really had high hopes for this place. They talk wonderful. However if you choose to go with them, please be advised that they will not tell you anything that you need for the program. Mind you, the trainers are great however, the business site really needs some help. And please do not pre-pay as they will keep your money if you are not happy. Because you signed a contract for your application that says it’s all nonrefundable so please only pay per class so you don’t get ripped off over $1000 like I did when I’m not happy with the school and want to stop. So sad that people that help train service animals are this way with disabled people. Especially when one of their disabilities is the reason why they wanted to stop and this business then dropped you from the program so they could keep your money

I honestly cannot say this enough, this team is amazing. Maria is my trainer, and I collaborate regularly with Briaunn. They have been amazing at supporting me through the very difficult training process, they are supporting me through DVR processing, and throughout my journey with training, they have been accommodating and so understanding of my situation. Truly, the validation and support has helped me through a variety of life circumstances over the last six months, AND the progress my dog has made with them is night and day. He is getting ready for tasking, and a board to train to finish his training. His public access has been going really well, and Maria has been amazing working with him on his reactivity. I cannot praise them enough, if you need a dog trained, this is the place to go.

I am so grateful to have discovered Canine Academy of Excellence for service dog training and I cannot commend Kate (the specific instructor I work with) highly enough. 🔹️VERY OBSERVANT both in teaching me Boots's cues and pointing out handling skills for me. 🔹️PATIENT if I ask her to repeat or explain something in a different way for me to understand more clearly. 🔹️EXPERTISE is clear in all that she is teaching both of us in such an effective way. 🔹️and personally, with increasing hearing loss, her voice is particularly "hear-able" both in tone, speed, and clarity which makes her training for us specifically valuable. EVERYONE in this wonderful organization is highly skilled and deeply committed to the success of each person-and-dog partnership.
