The Ace Dog Trainer

I have had the pleasure of utilizing Debra Nagler’s training approximately twenty years ago with my family’s golden retrievers, and more recently in the past 8 months with my current golden retriever puppy. Specifically, we have used her services for leash training, obedience training, and boarding. I can confidently say through my experience that Debra is simply the best there is and there is no facility or trainer comparable. The dogs have access to Debra and her staff on a continuous basis. The facility offers plenty of acreage for your dog to run and play, including an agility course and a large pond for swimming/dock diving. In addition to recommending the leash training, obedience training, dock diving, and agility courses, I highly recommend the in-board training which my dog recently completed. This program will take any dog and produce a well behaved, trained, dog for any real life scenario (i.e. how to act when around people, obeying commands when told, etc). I cannot speak highly enough about Debra and her staff. Debra Nagler performed a miracle on Amelia, our 5 year old rescued adult retriever, who had become increasingly aggressive toward other dogs. From jumping at car windows to breaking away during walks, we realized our situation had grown dangerous. Debra is so intuitive, she was successful in providing behavior modification for Amelia and for her family. We can now travel and take our pet with us everywhere! BTW: we researched the facility, met staff and found the place spotless. We opted for one of Debra's week long "boot camps" and we are so impressed that we are continuing private lessons and a monthly membership to use the facility for two hours each week.

Our two and a half year old Vizsla mix, Charlotte, was quite a handful. Despite trying various training techniques , she was still very reactive to other dogs trucks strollers bicycles motorcycles Etc. Walking her on the leash had become quite unpleasant. Debra is like a magician.She trained Charlotte with respect and love and helped her to find the right solution in her behavior. She is like a different dog. Charlotte was with Debra for 5 weeks. It was well worth the investment!
