The Art of Dogs

When my wife and I came to Anneliese, our dogs couldn't really walk on the leash, and were destructive and unsure of how to behave in the house. Their exuberance — while well meaning — was overwhelming for children and house guests. In our sessions with Anneliese, we were given the tools to have two calm and relaxed dogs in the house with clear boundaries. They can also both walk on the leash without tension and manage themselves in the face of distractions. They can also be trusted to walk with us in the wilderness and come when called. Our relationship with our dogs couldn't be healthier, thanks to Anneliese and her trainer Alex who took excellent care of our pooches and did amazing work with them during a board and train while we went out of town.

Anneliese has a gift, she speaks dog! After just one session with our 3 year old cattle dog rescue, she gave us "homework" and it really truly worked. It was exactly what our dog needed. When you first enter the space, she is watching everything your dog does and understands its interactions and movements perfectly and uses that information to inform the training. She used two of her own dogs in the training session as a testament to how good she is. A very kind, calm, effective teacher to both humans and dogs! We really enjoyed the actual training itself.
