The Champion Farm

My foster dog Barrett was very protective of me. Way too much. Anytime he rode in the car with me, he would try to get at anybody that was even near the car. Edgar was recommended to me. We were scheduled to meet at Shelby Farms. Barrett and I got there a little early and we got out of the vehicle and for the next 20 minutes, Barrett was trying to attack anybody that was within a football field from us. He was dragging me so hard I almost fell down several times. After just one visit with Edgar, Barrett was a completely different dog! He was the best behaved dog that I have ever had and I was so extremely proud of him. It was amazing what Edgar was able to do. I have owned dogs for my entire 63 years, but Edgar taught me so many things that I never knew and never even thought about. He really does work wonders if you are looking for a fantastic trainer. I highly recommend him.

We learned about The Champion Farm through Team Memphis Rescue who we adopted our awesome dog from. Titan was having issues with reactivity to dogs, scooters, strollers, etc. on our walks and also with jumping on people. Taylor was awesome when I spoke with her and she scheduled a session with Edgar at Shelby Farms Park. We met with him today and literally an hour into the session there was a transformation. He taught us, the humans, how important we are in our dog’s behavior and we learned so much from him. We left the session confident about what we need to work on daily for continued success. We absolutely recommend contacting these amazing folks if you need assistance with improving your pet’s behavior!!

We just had Edgar & John come by our house this morning for an in home session with our foster dog. He’s not been getting along well with our other dog & we were at a point of hopelessness & feeling overwhelmed & not knowing what to do. Edgar & Taylor are absolutely wonderful & really care about pets & know how important it is to teach the HUMANS about how to control your dog & make y’all’s relationship the best & the way it should be. Seriously, you can tell they are super passionate about wanting to help foster and adoptive parents become confident pet parents so that they can go on to help more & more pets. That’s the goal! Taylor is an absolute sweetheart who stays in constant communication. John was such a friendly guy who we cut up with! We even chatted about life stuff, they are so easy to talk to & take TIME to listen to your story. They are all genuinely good people. He showed me things I’ve never known & also corrected some of the bad information I have been given before. He showed me how to use the techniques & why they work. The Champion Farm is 100000% worth every penny. We still have work to do, of course, but we are hopeful that we can learn & apply Edgar’s techniques to make up the best dog parents we can be, for the sake of our dogs & for us. If you’re thinking about it— do it. EVERYONE could benefit from a training session with the Champion Farm. Like I said, although we have had dogs our whole life, you’re not really taught how to take care of them! There were a lot of eye opening “lessons” & Edgar can definitely think from a dog’s point of view! Thanks so much for all your help Taylor, Edgar, & John!
