The Champion Farm

Our two year old pup has been having some issues chasing cars, people, and being aggressive to other dogs. We called and Taylor was more than helpful and set us up with a home visit from Edgar. Within an hour we had our dog transformed. Edgar then insisted we leave the house and go to the park for exposure and reinforcement. Again, our dog was responding so well. I’d highly recommend these guys for training. He is pretty much the dog whisperer.

Edgar trains people not just dogs. And boy has he made a difference in my life! I volunteer and foster for the Tunica Humane Society. We work closely with Edgar and have sent many dogs to him over the last couple of years. All are living their best lives now in their forever homes. With each new training, I meet with Edgar and gain invaluable tools to help me train up our rescues and my own personal dogs. Edgar is devoted to helping folks and their pups succeed. Edgar is an amazing trainer! My dog was showing such aggressive behavior. I took him to a number of trainers and did not see results. After 1 week being with Edgar I cannot believe that my dog can be around other animals without the aggressive behavior. What a remarkable difference! He also teaches us what to do with our dog so that he can maintain the good behavior. Edgar is an excellent trainer and different than others because he took into consideration our dog and the dynamics of the household and environment that could be impacting the behavior. He is also very honest and told us what would and would not work, what was in our best interest and we came together to make a decision based on all the facts he layed out on the table. I would highly recommend him!

Edgar came to our home for an in-home session with our dog, who really needed help with her leash skills. He was wonderful. We were feeling a little hopeless, as we had utilized other trainers and tried different leashes, collars, and methods with no success. After working with her and teaching us how to deal with her for a couple of hours, we already saw improvement and he taught us everything we need to know to continue working with her. We were walking around the neighborhood taking turns walking her and he was giving us tips on how to deal with things as they came up. He even brought his dog out at one point to test her social skills, which was helpful to see as she doesn’t have a lot of dog friends. We will likely sign her up for the champion camp to help improve her behavior more, but just 1 in-home session made us feel so much relief because we finally know she is leash trainable and we know what to do now. He’s super nice too. Highly recommend!
