The Cultured Canine

My wife and I couldn’t be more grateful for Cultured Canine. Megan our puppy’s trainer did wonders with our 4 month old Doberman. We did the 3 week Board and Train program and all we can say is WOW! Our boy is walking perfectly on the leash, while before would pull like crazy. He’s very attentive to us and is motivated to learn and work. It’s so nice to have such a young pup that knows how to do so much already. We are so excited to continue his training with Cultured Canine and make him into the best Doberman possible. Highly recommended them to anyone who has a dog and wants them to be their absolute best and live a great life! Thank you Megan and The Cultured Canine Team!

I have a 5 year old Australian Shepherd (Benny) who was aggressive with other dogs. For Benny's entire life we've worked with different trainers, vet behaviorists, and tried a few medications. Nothing made a difference. Benny acted how he wanted to get what he wanted. Roughly a year ago a Border Collie moved into our home. After about 6 months he became more and more aggressive whenever she was within 5-10 feet of him. This slowly developed into human aggression with my now fiance. Benny completed a board and train with Lucas about 1.5 months ago. Lucas gave us the tools and guidance to help live a stress free life with Benny in our home. Benny has been making more and more progress every day since he's been home and for the first time since I've had him I feel like I can truly see a positive change in his behavior. We live in a city with many dogs, busses, and people. He's able to walk closer to other dogs and busses without lunging after them and the stress in our home has decreased significantly. Every day I look forward to waking up and working with Benny to keep the progress going. Lucas also let's Benny board with him when we are away on vacation. It's the first place I've found where I'm not stressed about leaving him. I know he's in good hands.

We used Lucas and his team at Cultured Canine for a 4 week board and train for our Australian cattle dog/ Sheltie mix, River. I can’t express enough how professional, calm and informative Lucas has been with us. They have transformed our dog and continue to work with us at home in our follow up visits to show us how to work with our dog. River is trained and Lucas is spending time with us making sure we know the right way to handle her. I would recommend Lucas and his staff to anyone who is serious about training their dog.
