The Daily Dog

This is a premium training service. We want an obedient, off-leash dog and that’s precisely what we are getting with The Daily Dog. Donna is excellent. She’s observant and meticulous - she will know if you’re not putting in the time/effort to get the desired results. Our boy was less than 6 months old when we started training. We did the top-tier puppy training to nail the basics and then did a board/train for off-leash/e-collar when we needed to travel. What we have is a 7 month old pup who listens to commands, off-leash, at the beach and on the trails in the woods. He’s still learning; however, we are much further along than we would have been had we not worked with Donna. We will be continuously training with Daily Dog over the next couple of years - moving from grade school to grad school. Highly recommend.

Donna did an amazing job training our 10 month old cocker spaniel. We found out he was deaf 2 months after getting him and reached out to Donna for help. She immediately came up with a game plan on how to train him so he would live comfortable among us and have him live a normal safe life. We have a 3 year old as well so we talked about safety training for a child as well. Donna was always easily available and very accommodating with our schedule. After 8 sessions we are very satisfied with the results. I can now take my dog for a walk or play in my backyard without concerns for his safety despite his hearing limitations. I would highly recommend Donna for your puppy/dog training needs.

As a first-time puppy owner, I was a little bit nervous and a lot excited about welcoming a black lab puppy into our family. For starters, we needed a puppy trainer. We did our homework and found Donna, who came highly recommended by my vet and others in the community. Donna lived up to her reputation! She is a top-notch professional, and I highly recommend Donna for all your puppy training needs. Donna offers a full suite of services including pet sitting and this is how I met Karina. Karina, like Donna, is a highly capable professional, who, in addition to providing excellent care, loves your pets as if they were her own. She takes care of our two cats and puppy, and to be honest, our furries thrive when we go on vacation. Karina sends text updates with photos of our cats/puppy. It is a huge stress reliever knowing that our pets are in great hands and well taken care of. 10/10 would recommend Daily Dog.

We moved to the suburbs and were looking for a local trainer to help with our super high energy, stubborn, stick loving English Bulldog. During our training sessions, Donna helped us to tackle several issues and provided us with tools to continue work on our own. Over the course of 8 classes, we’ve seen huge improvement with our buddy. She was always available for questions and we look forward to connecting with her again in the future as we continue to raise a well mannered boy!

This review is 6 months overdue...sorry Donna. That being said, the additional training all three of received (mom, dad and pup Ziva) was absolutely perfect for us! Our 18 month old wire-haired pointing griffon was now ready for a "refresher" from our initial puppy training received elsewhere along with a bit more advanced training. What Donna provided us with was just what we were hoping for and then some! She helped us clean up and fine tune what we had already learned and then gave us insight to some fantastic new and varied techniques specific to our needs which we found and still find seamless to reinforce every day; not to mention, an introduction to a network of local off leash dog friendly hiking trails! Who knew! Another plus for us was the option to have Donna come to our home for the training sessions. Donna's vibrant personality, wealth of personal and professional knowledge, expertise and really great stories was easily the highlight of each week for all three of us!
