We have had the privilege of working with Donna who is an exceptional trainer. We cannot express enough gratitude for the remarkable expertise and dedication she has brought to our 3-year-old rescue dog and fur baby, Scout, toward a happy and healthier life. Coming from the South and bouncing from two other homes, Scout had a tough beginning. A few months into our adopting Scout we notice a shift in his behavior. He started to become a very protective, bundle of fear, and showed some aggression and anxiety. From the very first session, it was evident Donna has an incredible understanding of dog behavior and psychology. She took the time to assess Scouts' needs and created a training plan that addressed both their fear aggression and anxiety issues. Her training approach is rooted in compassion, patience, and positive reinforcement. After a few training sessions one to one training sessions, we did a 3-week board and train program. The training program covered everything from basic obedience commands to addressing specific triggers that caused fear aggression. Donna’s ability to connect and engage with Scout is truly remarkable. Her training approach is rooted in compassion, patience, and positive reinforcement, allowing Scout to feel safe and supported throughout the training process. Not only did she help train Scout, but she also helped train us. She provided invaluable knowledge and tools to reinforce the training at home. She provided us with additional resources, guides, support, and the reasoning behind each training technique. We began to understand the reasoning behind his behavior and triggers and how to help and support him inside and outside the home. After just one week, we saw a tremendous difference in Scout. After week three, he continued to progress and transform. Scout's fear and anxiety are deep-rooted. It is amazing to witness Scout's transformation, seeing him overcome his fears, one small victory at a time, his anxiety starting to dimmish, and his confidence and happiness continuing to grow. Donna’s influence has extended far beyond training sessions, creating a positive ripple effect that has transformed our entire household. With her unwavering commitment to Scout's success, Donna was able to help us transform him into a confident, happy, obedient, and well-trained companion. Donna went above and beyond for us and Scout. We wholeheartedly recommend Donna to anyone seeking dog training or help with dogs who have a fear of aggression, anxiety, or any other behavioral challenge.
