Certified as a Professional Dog Trainer certifications; Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) which focuses on marker training for teaching basic behaviors, Family Dog Mediator (FDM), which uses the L.E.G.S. model (Learning, Environment, Genes, and Self) to understand dog behavior from an ethological perspective and completion of the Aggression in Dogs Master course and workshops instructed by Michael Shikashio to understand how to effectively and humanely modify aggressive, reactive and problem behaviors.

I was very happy with the services provided by The Dog clicker. John did a wonderful job working with my twin puppies. He was very patient and provided us with so much valuable information. It was a great experience
A fantastic experience! I have two energetic dogs, and John had such a calming effect on them. Not to mention he was exceptionally patient with me, as he tried to teach me how to teach my dogs. In addition, doing business with John was so easy--he was organized, prompt and professional. Look no further, you have found an excellent dog trainer!
John was absolutely wonderful working with our adopted rescue helping him gain confidence & teaching him how to play nice with other pups.
John does an excellent job with our anxious Shiba. She has gone from being scared of everything to adapting to humans and even getting better with other dogs. I would highly recommend John for dog training, especially behavioral issues.
