The Dog Knowledge

We are so happy & thankful we took our sweet Rosie to dog knowledge!! The four week program was exactly what she needed! She learned many commands & learned how to walk on the leash without pulling. At the end of the program, they have a graduation that teaches parents exactly what they learned. It was very helpful so we could set Rosie up for success! They also offer an in home session, which is great! We recommend dog knowledge 1000% & are so glad we sent Rosie!!

We were at the end with our puppy. The morning we went to The Dog Knowledge for evaluation, we caught her hanging from the drapes by her teeth and trying to pull them down. Phoebe is a loving dog but she is a tornado. Full of energy and ready to destroy the house. Long story short, she's still full of energy and she is still trying to chew on anything that she can reach, BUT... we now have the tools to work with her. Four weeks at their place and Phoebe now understands several commands and as her humans, we do too. "No" and "Place" and "No" and "Heel" and "No" and especially, "Yes." If we use the right words we learned at graduation - Phoebe is under control. And thank goodness for the post-graduation on-site visit a few days later because we weren't using the commands right. We're learning. It's on us to "No" immediately and "Yes" when she does something right and provide a treat. We decided to join the membership and that provides unlimited retraining on Sundays. And we have a new boarding kennel. Five stars. They "saved" our dog.

Our ~3 year old rescue (Mags) attended the 4 week training at The Dog Knowledge. Prior to training, Mags struggled with loose leash walking, leash reactivity and lacked some general obedience. We worked with two different trainers before deciding on The Dog Knowledge, and it was the best choice we could have made. Arriving at the first eval for Mags, I felt frustrated with the lack of progress Mags had made. However, at the first meeting with Debbie, I felt reassured and knew from the start that Mags would be in great hands at The Dog Knowledge. Since graduation, we have been VERY pleased with the progress Mags made at training and it laid a great foundation for her continued training and success at home. Dennis and team are extremely knowledgeable and are genuinely focused on your dog’s success. Post training, Dennis and team have been incredibly helpful and responsive to ANY questions and concerns we have had. The free Sunday refresher sessions have been very helpful to touch up her (and our) skills. We will and have already recommended The Dog Knowledge for friends who may need training for their dog. We want to reiterate that the training was great but the customer service has been even better. An even better bonus is that Mags gets to enjoy daycare here- and she is always so excited to be back at The Dog Knowledge! Thank you to TDK for being committed to our dog’s lifelong success!
