The Dog Knowledge

We just picked up our dog, Olive, from graduation from the 4 week training program. Olive is a 7mo lab and has always been sweet and well intentioned, but we struggled to teach her leash etiquette, with getting her to auto sit and with implied “stay.” We are so pleased with how the great trainers at Dog Knowledge have been able to teach and reenforce these, and other good habits, in Olive. We know that we have a lot of work to do to reenforce these expectations at home, but we feel confident with our ability to do so with the in home training session in a couple of weeks, and with the “touch up” sessions that can be scheduled on certain Sundays.

Thoroughly pleased with the results from the training of our puppy. We took him to the month long program, which naturally is tough to be away from your dog for that long, but their process makes total sense and they help with the time away with regular photos and updates. The handoff graduation and follow up training is equally important to pet owners as you learn exactly what to do to continue your puppy's training journey. We highly recommend The Dog Knowledge for your dog's training needs!

I had an amazing experience with The Dog Knowledge. It was hard to leave my dog for a month, but it was worth it. I was moving into a new place with an elevator and wasn't sure how he would act in a confined space, as he likes to jump and love on everyone he sees. We had our first experience with people in the elevator the other day, and he did so well. I was so proud of him and we celebrated right after we got off, lol. The weekly email updates with photos were an anxiety reliever as he was missed so much. They do an in-home visit after training is over. That was much needed as he tried to slip back into his old ways as they mentioned. And I needed a refresher as well. I enjoyed the professionalism and all of the information given at graduation. You guys are awesome! Thank you so much!

I took my dog to boarding at The Dog Knowledge for several nights recently and will absolutely be back! Immediately upon arrival, I noticed several employees walking/training other dogs outside of the facilities. I was very impressed by the 1:1 attention and focused dedication on each pup. Inside the facility is very clean and welcoming. There’s a huge space in the center where other dogs were practicing training and several more staff members who greeted me immediately. They were more than happy to accommodate special requests for my pup. They were able to have her ready for pickup a bit early when I arrived earlier than expected, and she seemed to have a great time evidenced by the fact that she was wiped out for the next day or so. Glad to have a boarding/daycare facility that I trust and my dog loves!
