The Dog Tamer

My experience with Tom was beyond amazing. I adopted an 8 month old Goldendoodle and decided to do 2 weeks of board and train. As a teacher I needed someone to help teach him structure and discipline as I didn’t have the time to do that in the middle of the school year. When I picked Tucker up he was a completely different dog. He was able to follow commands, walk without getting distracted and was able to relax more. In addition, Tom has made himself available to me through call and text whenever any issues have arisen. I cannot recommend Tom enough!!!

My high energy 6 month old golden retriever stayed with Tom for 2 weeks to train. She is super reactive, scared of everything, has a lot of energy and specifically needed help walking on a leash. Tom was absolutely wonderful to work with. He sent us video and photo updates daily to keep us updated with her progress which really helped calm any nerves we had. When we picked her up, I couldn’t believe how well she was walking on the leash- it was a completely different dog from the one who pulled incessantly and was scared of cars passing by to her walking perfectly next to Tom with no worries. He gave us tips on how to continue her training when we got home and today I took her on a mile walk with no issues! Can’t thank Tom enough and would recommend his services and expertise to anyone who is struggling with a behavioral dog.

Tom was outstanding to work with. He instantly helped us to understand our rescue dogs past trauma and worked with us as owners to be able to effectively communicate with him. Tom was patient in earning the trust of our pup fist, so he could show us exactly what exercises and routines the dog would respond best to. Tom did not push extra lessons and clearly wanted what was best for our dog. We plan to work with Tom again in the future for walking and leash behavior. We strongly recommend Tom to anyone looking for dog training.
