The Dog Wizard - Dog & Puppy Obedience Training Fort Myers

Bri is hands down the _best_ trainer you can send your dog to, I will forever recommend her to anyone that'll listen! Our 4.5 month old pup graduated day camp today and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Bri (and really all of the staff at the Dog Wizard). From evaluation (at 12 weeks old) with Corrie to actual sessions each week and daily follow up with Bri we felt comfortable through the entire process and that every penny was well spent for the value of time and care they put into training the dogs. Zoe is a completely different dog than she was 6 sessions ago. We sent in a typical stubborn puppy with some bad habits we didn't know we created and came out with a fantastic well behaved baby (that still tests her limits but that's to be expected 😆). We humans got just about as much training as Zoe did (if not more) so we knew how to handle puppy better but Bri was there every step of the way to tweak what we were doing and answer all of my frantic "why is she doing...[insert whatever crazy thing Zoe does at home but not at the facility]" texts! We look forward to the continued support of TDW & Bri with their weekly classes and pack walks! After regular day school graduation, Zoe went to weekly puppy classes with Kat & Mike until she was 6 (ish) months old - reinforcing the lessons of day school and getting awesome socialization time with her puppy friends every week! Now we've moved to support class with Bri & Patrick (and usually Kat & Mike too!); they give us a little more structure to the lessons, have been great for enforcing her non-reactivity to random situations and dogs as well as keeping a good heel with her during pack walks. We love weekly classes at TDW and the entire training staff! Update #2 to include ecollar training Zoe was sent for a 1 week board & train session while I was out of town, giving me the peace of mind that she was with a staff that cared about her as well as knocking out her next level of training. Ecollar training has been awesome for Zoe's freedom but also reinforced all of the training commands she had already learned with TDW. Now she can play off leash (in safe areas) and I feel better that she'll come back to me every time when called.

Windy participated in the 2 week training boot camp offered by Dog Wizard. We were amazed by what a difference they were able to make in that time frame. Patrick worked with her daily and offered frequent updates on her progress. He did an outstanding job with her training and even helped us get comfortable with keeping her new skills ingrained once we took her back home. Thank you Patrick & Dog Wizard!

This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with completely unorganized. Scheduled an appointment was sent an email with the address. The directions were not correct. Could not find the location and then when I called to try to get someone on the phone I kept Getting stuck in the phone tree and could not get anyone. After I hung up, a woman called me and then complained that she couldn't hear me on the phone. Well, of course she couldn't. I have an anxious nervous dog in the car for 45 minutes while I'm driving around, trying to find their location then when I hung up on the phone, I get a text message saying thank you for reaching out. someone will get back to you soon absolutely the worst experience ever I would never ever ever recommend this company to anyone looking for obedience training. The staff themselves need obedience training.

First, I’d like to thank Bri! My dog is 5 years old and *HAD* a terrible case of reactivity. He was absolutely scared of anything and everything and used aggression to “scare it away.” After training, he is so much more confident & in turn his obedience has gotten substantially better. He doesn’t have to hide in the safety of his backyard anymore, he can enjoy sunsets alongside me and see all that life has to offer. I am so grateful for all the team members that worked along side him! Thank you all for being accepting, understanding, and encouraging even after training. Your dedication and commitment shows in my dog’s outcome.
