The Happy Hound Behavior and Obedience

I have worked with multiple trainers in the Buffalo area, Sammy has been the most incredible and dedicated trainer. Our babes couldn’t leave the house due to leash reactivity- and if we did, it usually ended up with my husband picking up our 75lb dog to carry home as she barked and thrashed in his arms. Every penny we invested into their future has been worth it. We can now take them up to 3 miles without being afraid of walking into another dog. We have gone ahead and purchased more training sessions. Sammy is incredible. I strongly urge anyone who has thought of training their pups to invest in The happy hound. It will be the best decision you make. Bonus, with the walks they’re down to 65 lbs each

Our dog Arlo has made incredible progress over these last few weeks thanks to Sami! Walking him on a leash used to present a lot of challenges, but Sami gave us the tools to better advocate for him and set him up for success. Now, Arlo is so much more polite and composed! We’re especially thrilled with how confident he’s become in new and larger environments. Whether it’s a busy park or an unfamiliar place, Sami’s tips and tricks for both Arlo and us have helped make him so much more comfortable. We’re beyond grateful for Sami’s patience, expertise, and care throughout this process. We highly recommend Sami to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dog trainer!

Sami was beyond amazing to work with each week. Our puppy had some extreme separation anxiety and struggled being in his crate. She helped to guide us in addressing the issue & we’ve made great progress. We also saw extreme improvements in his loose leash walking, reactivity when someone enters our home and place command training. We couldn’t be more grateful for her help and would highly recommend her services to anyone considering. It’s definitely worth it 😊

We cannot recommend The Happy Hound enough!! We reached out to Sami to start training with our Labrador retriever puppy. Betty. Betty was *terrified* of going down the stairs, jumping / lunging on people during walks, and impossible to recall during a scary incident off leash. Within our 10 training sessions, Betty mastered the stairs, walking politely with a hands free leash, recall, “drop it”, “place”, “down”, reduced jumping on people immensely, and has even worked her way up to off leash freedom at the park due to e collar training. Sami also provided opportunities to learn how to properly socialize Betty with other dogs. If we hadn’t worked with Sami, both Betty and I would never of had the confidence to enjoy adventures together. Betty successfully joined us on a week-long road trip to the beach, several coffee shops, patios, and family / friend gatherings. We cannot thank Sami enough for her guidance and support. Our bond with Betty is even stronger, and she has truly shaped into the dog we have always wanted! I would give more stars if I could ⭐️

Training with Miss Sami has been such an incredible experience!! We have done individual lessons as well as a 2 week board and train. In this time we have accomplished so much with our puppy from learning and understanding how to teach and correct behavior, to also better understanding our pup’s natural tendencies. We have found so much success since day one and look forward to seeing her obedience continue to flourish through Miss Sami’s guidance! We cannot say enough good things for these programs and encourage anyone to participate!!
