The Happy Retriever

I have 3 labrador retrievers who have all completed training at The Happy Retriever. Most recently, my 6 month old puppy, Heidi, completed the Puppy 101 & Boot Camp 1 programs. The puppy program taught Heidi basic commands including sit, stay, down, place, free and come. Boot Camp 1 taught Heidi how to walk effortlessly on a prong collar. Heidi is an absolute joy to take on walks after completing these programs! No pulling, she listens when I give her a command, and her auto sit is absolutely phenomenal! The trainers are top notch at The Happy Retriever. I am also grateful for the love, attention and enthusiasm the trainers gave Heidi - Heidi always began whining with excitement and wiggling with happiness in the car as soon as we turned into the driveway at the training facility. I highly recommend The Happy Retriever - your pups will love their day, love their trainers, and learn how to respond to your commands with ease.

We’ve been extremely pleased with the results from The Happy Retriever. We enrolled our 4-month-old Bernedoodle puppy, Penny, in their Basic Manners training program because she was struggling to listen to commands. After completing the training, she was like a completely different puppy. She can now sit, stay, place, and come when called. We’ve been so happy with her progress that we continue to drive Penny 30 minutes to The Happy Retriever for “bump-up” days so she can keep building on her training. For anyone who is on the fence about puppy training, I would definitely recommend The Happy Retriever in Holliston.

We sent our 9-month old Bernese mountain dog to Happy Retriever for a month-long board and train program, and he is doing so great. Our experience with the training program was fantastic. Hannah, his trainer was really excellent -- she was so responsive and thoughtful during his time there away from us. When he came home, he was very well trained, and we had good instructions on how to maintain this at home. And then, when he went back for the follow up Bump Up Days in the first week after completing the training, he was very excited to return. He will be coming back for further Bump Up days for sure! We could not be happier with the training and care he received.
