Working work Justin has been great! We rescued a very anxious dog and when we first got him he hated being outside & would refuse to walk. After 3 sessions with Justin we were able to walk around the neighborhood. He really gave us the tools to help lead our boy & make him feel more confident. Our neighbors even comment on how much better he has gotten which is such a testament to Justin’s great relationship with the dogs he works with. We’re so lucky to run into him in the neighborhood & Heinz always runs right up to him! We can’t thank Justin enough for helping us do what’s best for Heinz!

Despite my educational background in animal behavior and my work in animal care, I just could not get my super scared, very reactive, staffy/pit rescue to listen to me on walks. Beyond his inability to pay attention to me, he was lunging at passersby, which made taking him out all the more stressful. I was fortunate enough to have Justin as a neighbor where he witnessed these behaviors in real time and stepped in like the hero he is! During our first session my dog would not even sit for either of us! I was mortified. But within an hour he was walking alongside Justin, listening to his cues, and more alert than he had ever been. Justin transferred his knowledge and skills to me with a boat load of patience and care. He is phenomenal at explaining his methods and the reasons behind them and an excellent teacher. Beyond his unmeasured training ability, he is also kind and so genuine. He truly cares about both owner and pup. I am so thankful for Justin’s help with my crazy boy. Walking him is no longer stressful and is actually my favorite parts of the day.
