We offer high level, personalized dog training, based right outside of Tampa. We have a 10 acre ranch, where the dogs can socialize, play, and work towards off leash obedience. We have everything from puppy preschool to advanced obedience, as well as behavior modification. At TLC Dog Training, we specialize in real world training. In addition to training on the ranch, the dogs will learn to navigate the outside world, and go on training field trips to places like parks and stores. I started training with Kellie in 2018 for my 2 pittie pups who were in dire need of direction. One was very dog reactive, the other fearful of everything. We had several scary encounters with off-leash dogs (leash law, people!) and I was filled with anxiety.
My dogs needed a leader and I was falling short.
Kellie seriously changed our lives. She gave me the tools I needed - as well as the encouragement and held me accountable to do the work - in order to see the results. Kellie has so much patience - especially with those holding the leash because that's where the the solution either succeeds or falls short. I needed a LOT of help.
Flash forward to today - and a move across the country - I get SOOOO many compliments on my dogs' polite manners in public around numerous dogs. I'm asked if I'm a trainer (I WISH I were that good!).
If you're looking for someone to help with training, Kellie achieves this by creating a path from where you and your dog are today to reaching your unique goal of what you want to accomplish.
I must reiterate: You, the dog owner, must do the work. I promise, the rewards are so worth it.

Kim and Lewis are exceptional dog trainers! I have been working with them for almost a year now with my reactive pit bull rescue, and they have not only helped him with his reactivity but also helped me learn how to live with a reactive dog and the aspects of dog behavior! I could not recommend them enough and it was definitely money well spent :)
