The Loyal Canine Dog Training

Lewis and Kim did a fantastic job with our pup. We now have a dog that no longer runs out the door, or knocks over our toddler. We love that it's family run, and our baby got to live with her trainer (and their dogs, cat, and toddler!) for 3 weeks. She looked like she was having so much fun she didn't want to come home! I definitely recommend them and will be using them for continued training in the future.

In April 2019, I became a first time dog mom to a (now) 10lb shorkie named Kiwi. I fell in love and quickly realized I had NO clue how to train a dog. Despite all of the “internet gurus” and public opinion, I sought out a more sophisticated resource to help me train my baby, er puppy. From the moment I met Kim with TLC, I was enamored. I had NO clue how many things I was doing incorrectly bc the internet or my friends/family told me to. She spent WAY more time on our (free) initial consult I literally was won over. She even helped me out that first visit and I saw an instant small change w my child, er puppy. ;) I just wish I found her sooner!!! Thank you for walking along side our path to getting to know each other, basic manners and learning how to coexist in a safe and healthy place!

Kim and Lewis are just wonderful people and excellent trainers. I sent my 4 month old Doberman pup Gia (now in heaven) to the 2 week puppy preschool and she learned so much, we were very pleased when she came back to see all the progress she had made, Kim gave us a lesson right after to keep up with all the commands and behaviors and it was just an amazing lesson. Now we adopted two mixed puppies and they’re 3 months old and I already got our first lesson with Kim, completely different ball game having two and also siblings, Kim gave me a free initial consultation just like with Gía and she was so patient with the crazy puppies, she observed and analyzed their behavior and explained to me everything that I needed to know about dealing with siblings, then we had our lesson and I could see the improvement right away. With her tips and her knowledge I have been able to modify some of the concerns and improve them so much, I also follow them on social media and watch their videos all the time, they’re very helpful and educational. I can’t wait to have another lesson. They’re fantastic and I highly recommend them for all your furry friends needs.

My husband and I added a regular size Goldendoodle to our family just before Christmas. We are not spring chickens and being that Toby was expected to be 65 pounds we needed to make sure he was trained correctly. TLC was recommended to us along with Pet Smart. Kim came to our home for a consultation and after hearing her credential and everything she had to offer there was no question the investment would be worth it. TLC incorporates puppies into their family life and the communications we received regarding Toby's progress helped so much. The videos, detailed progress reports and pictures were so professional. Toby stayed a total of 3 weeks due to a potty training challenge he presented. Toby is almost 6 months old and no longer bites me or my grandson, sits patiently while I prepare his food, keeps his paws off my countertops. While Toby is still very much a puppy and a work in progess we have continued with additional training sessions in our home that have proven very effective. Truth be told it's us that need the training and with Kim's knowledge of dog behavior it has helped us to be a better family for Toby. We have also used their boarding services and find it superior to any other facility we used in the past. It is apparent that TLC truly loves what they do and they do it with excellence.

Kim and Lewis have been amazing since the minute we reached out to them! They were recommended to us from our former trainers in Maryland. We reached out to them prior to moving down and even then, they invested their time getting to understand our dog, Remy, who has aggressive tendencies! Kim went above and beyond to ensure her and Remy created a bond that is rare for him with anyone outside of myself and my wife. I would recommend them 100% to anyone!
