We decided to adopt a puppy for ourselves and our 13 year old boy who lost a doggie sibling. We knew how important puppy training would be for our little girl, Bailey. We wanted harmony and the ability to give Bailey all the tools in a puppy toolkit. We reached out to Paula at the puppy coach before Bailey arrived home. Paula’s insightful lessons and homework helped bridge the gap because we had not had a puppy in our house for 13 years. Bailey is an amazing puppy (now one years old) who loves her now 14 year old brother. Bailey mastered all the puppy essentials and now strides through life as a social, well-mannered and confident dog. I'm so happy I chose Paula to help us train our 4 year old rescue! She is experienced, non-judgmental when discussing challenges or concerns, and flexible in her approach when a suggested training method isn't quite the right fit. After each in-home visit with Paula, we received tools and homework assignments, which we needed to enhance our understanding of the training methods discussed. She truly understands the importance of building confidence as dog owners, which translates into the dog's confidence as well. Paula is wonderful, and besides being a great trainer, an awesome person all around!
Paula is an excellent trainer. She took the time to get to know us and our rescue puppy, then provided a comprehensive plan to address all of our goals. She stayed in contact between sessions and was quick to respond to any questions. She frequently sent us resources such as detailed instructions and videos.
