The Puppy Perfectors

We signed up for the reactive dog training classes for our sottish terrier puppy, Hudson, right before the first real covid lockdown happened. We were able to go to orientation and have our initial private lesson, but the subsequent group classes got postponed. Even so, just having the single private lesson was insanely helpful! Seeing how Summer worked with Hudson gave us some really valuable techniques that we were able to employ ourselves and see immediate improvements. We also emailed with further training questions, and Summer was quick to reply with very thorough answers that were always useful. When group classes were able to start, we felt good covid procedures were being followed, and by the end of the class series, Hudson was doing much better than before. Unfortunately, we then moved rather far away, and taking additional classes would have been a challenge. Leaving Puppy Perfectors behind was one of the few things that made us feel bummed about moving!

~Reactive Dog Training Review~ Working with Summer and Puppy Perfectors literally changed our day-to-day life with our dog Kodiak. As novice dog owners, we rescued a Blue Heeler-German Shepherd mix without a second thought.
