Our Golden Retriever had been running the house since the day we brought her home! We started working with Jen for 1:1 training in April 2021. Peaches was 10 months old and already knew a few basic commands but only followed when she was in the mood. She would also resource guard food and favorite toys. Our confidence in being "in charge" improved after the first session and things just got better from there. Before we started training I though we might have to re-home our girl because I have a child that needed to be protected. But I am so glad we found Jen and Mike. We now have a wonderful dog who listens (95% of the time), shares her toys with us and has shown no aggression in months! Even better, Peaches knows what her expectations are and it has made her happy, content and a lover of receiving praise for good behavior!
I had the BEST experience working with River Valley!!! I cannot recommend them enough. Very flexible with scheduling sessions, professional, and just an all around pleasure to work with. PLUS- the knowledge they gave me will last a lifetime for all future dogs I own.
Jennifer and Mike are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Their training methods are unlike any other dog trainer in town, and they will work with you based on the individual needs of your dog instead of a cookie cutter training program. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We attended a 5 classes with Always Faithful Dog Training of Evansville and so happy we did. My ChiChi weighs 3 pounds and was able to learn from this class. Jen and Mike were great with all the dogs. I appreciate the knowledge time energy and love that went into each class. I highly recommend for all breeds.
