The Well Heeled Way

Jerry was recommended to me by my closest friend and her parents. They are truly the best and I trust them with everything, so I decided to reach out to Jerry. He didn’t disappoint whatsoever! I have an 8month old Bernese Mountain pup, Bentley, who is super anxious of so many things. He wouldn’t step on the tile, would get stressed so he would nervous bite, he can get stubborn when on a leash and wouldn’t move at all, etc. The calming leash was Bentley’s life savor. Jerry taught me so many things and now Bentley will willingly walk with me on the tile, get in the car without a hassle, he even stopped biting for the most part! Thanks to Jerry, Bentley can now live the fulfilling life I knew he could :)

It's Real and It's Spectacular!!! I have known Jerry for many years and had always thought of him as the "Dog Whisperer", but my dogs were older and mature and I didn't need any assistance. Fast forward to the summer of 2023...my oldest dog passed away and we decided to get a puppy as a companion for our 7 year old dog. That brought along several challenges as I blended these 2 dogs together. I reached out to Jerry to hook me up with "The Well Heeled Way" program. Immediately, I saw results as Jerry trained my wife and I how to handle our dogs. And, inside of 2 hours I had 2 very compliant dogs and more importantly, I knew what I needed to do to help my dogs in the future. Best Investment Ever!!!

I was very frustrated with our dog Bubba's reactivity to other dogs. It was getting to the point that I did not want to take him for walks. A friend recommended Jerry to us and I am so glad she did. Finding someone that can handle working with reactive dogs is not easy. He took the time work with us and even brought out his own dog so I could work on the skills needed to manage a reactive situation. With Jerry’s expertise and the over the shoulder leash and calming cord we are back to enjoying walks. Having a reactive dog can be an isolating feeling, it is great to have Jerry to reach out to for help.

I rescued my 10 month old pitbull mix, Pinky, three months ago. Pinky is a sweet girl with a sweet temperament, but she is strong & willful and still learning her manners. She is getting stronger than me & walking her on a leash was just embarrassing. I was also having a difficult time getting her to focus on me and learn what I wanted from her. When we arrived to meet Jerry, the first thing that I noticed was his calm demeanor. He gives clear instructions that make total sense to you and your pup. He made short work of showing me how to get Pinky to focus on me and understand what I expected of her. One session and I had a clear understanding of what we need to do moving forward. I’ve practiced with Pinky daily since our session and she just gets better and better. SHE is a more confident pup and I have confidence that she will be a sweet, well mannered, good steward for the pitbull breed. I can’t say enough good things about Jerry as a human and a dog trainer. And his calming cord is just brilliant.
