Thunder Ridge Kennels

I don't know what happened at this kennel but when my wifes son picked up our dogs they had an overwhelming stench of urine on them. like they were left in a dirty kennel all weekend. It was very upsetting for us to find out how our dogs were treated!! And to add to this review my boxer came down with kennel cough a week after her stay. she has not been anywhere but home after her stay so it is highly unlikely she got it sowhere else. I will not be going back!

We brought our 8 year old yellow lab, Hitch, to be kenneled while we went away on business. We were kind of in a bind trying to find a kennel on short notice. Thunder Ridge had great reviews and were able to take our dog even with a time crunch. Hitch had a blast, was tired out, happy and healthy when we picked him up today. Very reasonably priced and the owner was amazing. The last time he was kenneled, at a “ritzy” expensive place, he came home with burned and torn up pads on his feet. When we called, they brushed it off as “normal” for dogs that aren’t used to pool time and gravel. That was not okay. It was their job to watch our dog and keep him safe. They failed to do that. We will definitely board this dog, and any future dogs, with Thunder Ridge in the future.
