Tip Top K9 Dog Training The Woodlands

Huge shoutout to Mikal! When we started, our 2 year old Shepherd-mix Sidious struggled with obedience, recall, aggression toward men and other dogs, and even basic walks were stressful and unpredictable. Over the six weeks we worked with Mikal, we started seeing real changes. Mikal took the time to understand Sidious and gave us the tools and confidence we needed to work through his challenges. The difference in his behavior, focus, and overall attitude was incredible. What means the most to us is that these weren't just short-term improvements. More than a year later, Sidious is thriving. He enjoys walks, is much more confident and responsive, and gets to experience so much more of the world than he could before. We're so grateful to Mikal for his patience, knowledge, and support throughout the process. Seeing Sidious happy, successful, and enjoying life today is something we honestly weren't sure would be possible when we first started. We can't thank Mikal enough!

This has been long overdue... Forgive me Mikal! 😅 Well over a year ago, we had a very standoff-ish shepherd & an unruly possible Pyrenees mix. He was never actively aggressive but definitely acted like he was. It made it impossible to have family & friends over, go for casual walks, take them to dog parks, etc... Mikal came by for a consultation & was able to calm him almost instantly! He was very well spoken, professional, & caring the whole time. We were more worried about the Shepherd so we focused on him primarily, but after several sessions that our Shepherd took REALLY WELL to, he spent some time with our great pyrenees to get her to listen a little better & a few other simple commands. The whole experience was IMMACULATE & HIGHLY recommendable. Every bit of the experience was absolutely worth every moment!

Mikal & the Tip Top K9 team are heaven sent! Bucky is my first dog and I was in over my head, looking for so many trainers but making sure it was done in an effective, loving way and we’re beyond happy! All our concerns have been corrected and Mikal does such a good job of not only teaching us what to do but explaining the WHY and our dog’s thought processes to help us understand better. Can’t recommend them enough!

We cannot fully articulate our appreciation for the phenomenal training we received from Tip Top. Our very enthusiastic 9-month old pup came home from two weeks of boot camp with new discipline , but still happy and energetic! Mikal is a gifted communicator - with humans and dogs! We could tell that our dog bonded with him, which was a reassuring gift to us. We are so excited about the training that she received… and appreciative for the personal touch of Mikal’s updates throughout the training services. Before Mikal’s training, we were worn out and frustrated with trying to teach our dog to listen and respond, walk without pulling us, and be nice to our other animals.
