Tip Top K9 Dog Training The Woodlands

I want to start by saying that Mike and his staff are absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure that each and every customer feels comfortable during their visit. We sent our hyperactive 1.5 year old goldendoodle (Ozzie) for a 2 week bootcamp and we were blown away when he came back. During the entire 2 weeks, Mike sent videos showing progress almost daily. Once Ozzie was back home, Mike was even kind enough to come out to our house for a refresher after a few weeks. If you are thinking about getting your dog into training, look no further. 10/10 recommend their services.

Mikal met me at my house back in December for a consultation for my super territorial, under socialized 7 year old dog, Lola. I was hopeful yet mostly pessimistic that he would be able to help me convince Lola not to eat my fiancé, who was planning to move in in the coming months. As expected, Lola greeted Mikal with all of her teeth and a lunge forward that I had come to expect from her. Fast forward 1 HOUR into our consultation session, Lola was heeling, lunging was reduced, barking was reduced. ONE HOUR. It was remarkable. Every session, Lola worked through what I learned was more anxiety than aggression. Mikal taught me so much about dog behavior (and owner behavior, lol). Fast forward to March, and my fiancé moved in. We got him plugged in with a few sessions, bribed Lola with some snacks, followed the correction guidance from Mikal, and she is now my fiancés best friend. We recently adopted our 3 yr old Aussie/Pittie mix. She is the absolute sweetest people dog but liked to “overcorrect” her dog brothers which resulted in a lot of chaos and anxiety in the house. We were ready to give up on her since we couldn’t predict when she was going to react, but decided to try training. Mikal took her for 10 days and it’s like she had a lobotomy. All the crazy parts have been calmed but the best parts of her are still intact. Best of all because of their system, I actually feel confident that we can maintain it in our daily lives which we’ve struggled with in other programs in the past.
