TMS K-9 Connections

In a moment of insanity I adopted two doodles during the pandemic. They were tiny little puppies who grew to be huge beasts with tons of energy. The upside is, they're super smart dogs. When they became about 16 months old, I had a vacation planned and found TMS K9 Connections when researching boarding facilities. They also offered dog training while boarding and saw this as a positive opportunity for my dogs, so they were not just 'being boarded' for three weeks. I cannot tell you enough about how this experience has changed their behaviors. I attended a training session myself the day I picked up my pups and learned so much. We were able to continue with these simple tools and lessons at home and the dogs knew what to do. It was such a positive experience that we decided to enroll them in a second course, which was 'off-leash' training and again, leaps and bounds of change. Today, we continue practicing the lessons and are grateful to Stephanie for her dedication to dogs and the methods that she's perfected. Highly recommend TMS K9 Connections!

We have a super sweet but neurotic 3 year old Whoodle, Chuck, who we sent to TMS for their Board and Train program. Ever since returning home he has only continued to improve on the skills he learned with Stephanie and crew. They noticed the small things and really tailored his training to his various idiosyncrasies which I think was a big part of his success. He and his feline sister can now interact as if they've always been pals, his incessant barking has decreased significantly (down to only the occasional bark), his recall is light-years better and he seems much more at ease during the day. He's been home for almost 2 weeks so we still make sure to stay on top of his training but on a recent camping trip (when he'd normally be stressed and stressing us to the max) it was as if he's always been an amazing canine camper - he was an absolute joy to have with us and seeing how much he enjoyed camping and hiking was so wonderful. We're really glad we made the investment in him and in our sanity - it was well worth it!
