We got our Alaskan Malamute puppy during Covid and then fire evacuation. So unfortunately, living in the mountains, she didn't get to meet alot of dogs or people. She was scared of other dogs. If another dog showed any aggressive behavior she would summoned her wolf ancestry! Ha! And put an end to it! So finally, after years of agony on walks and hikes, we looked for a trainer for her and my wife! Ha! Thankfully I picked up Sam's business card at Sierra Vets office. Sam was fantastic! He basically speaks dog! We're very thankful for the time and patience he showed in correcting her negative behavior. We highly recommend his technique. Now we can enjoy our walks and hikes on and off leash!

I have a rescue pit mix, who would lose it when he'd see other dogs, he was excited but most people took it as aggression. Due to his behavior, we stayed off trails to not cause a scene. Sam said that we could fix that behavior in a month and he was right. Three weeks in and I was able to walk my pup on Kiva beach. He also taught my pup how to walk nice on the leash too. Sam was able to train me and my dog and now he gets to enjoy trails and dogs every day. I cannot say enough good things. My only regret is that I didn't know about Trail Dog Etiquette when I first adopted my dog. Thank you Sam!

Can’t overstate how efficacious Sam’s methodology is. We had one dog that did well on trails but had poor recall and another that has stranger danger and absolutely wouldn’t listen when fixated on something else so he couldn’t go off leash, ever. The former is now the most obedient trail dog I know, the latter can now be trusted off leash and has excellent recall even when something is super exciting to him. Stop looking, let Sam help you and your dogs.
