Sam was an awesome help and super accommodating. We wanted to take our dog on our flight but we knew he was very reactive to other dogs and so we used Sam's services to help learn tactics on how to avoid big outbursts and it was a huge help in avoiding situations we would have otherwise had. He is very thoughtful and really thinks about how the dog feels/thinks in the way he teaches. He also has a ton of equipment (leashes, collars etc) he sells which helped tremendously control our dog better. Will definitely be using Sam's services again if we find ourselves back in Tahoe.

Sam was a great trainer. He helped us with our newly adopted 6-year-old, Lady. When we got Lady, she was stubborn, pulled when walking on a leash, had no recall off leash, and was reactive to other dogs and cars. Sam helped us address all these issues, and now were able to walk Lady off leash with a remote collar. I honestly thought I’d never be able to walk her off leash! Sam was also easy to work with and accommodating with scheduling.

Our dog, Luke was aggressive toward other dogs so I was always on guard when walking him. I wasn't able to take him on trails where other people/dogs came close to us. I called Sam for help. After our initial consult and first training lesson I learned that Luke was an anxious dog that wasn't aggressive but spooked and unable to read other dogs' social cues. During our lessons he helped Luke by slowly introducing him to dogs while retraining him to respond in a different way. Sam's gentle, easy manner helped Luke to feel supported and not fearful of other dogs. He also showed me how my body language impacts Luke. During our training sessions we successfully met many dogs at parks and even played fetch on the beach. Thanks Sam!

Kudos to Sam for being a great dog trainer! Over the past summer Sam trained my puppy, Pretzel, and me. My 8 yr old dog Daisy got to hang with us and got a much needed tune up. Sam equipped both dogs with Garmin collars so they can be off leash and under control. Daisy was a relentless coyote chaser, and I couldn't have Pretzel pick up any bad habits. Sam is super patient, kind, and gentle. I cannot recommend him enough!!
