Look no further, because you've just found the best trainer for your dog! Nicole truly listens to your goals and cares about the dogs that she trains. I came to Nicole with my 11 year old Terrier mix, Pepper who was severely resource guarding me, and I wanted to get that anxiety issue with him fixed before it got worse. Nicole instantly understood that he is a senior dog and tailored his training to his age while still meeting our overall goals. After a few sessions we started to notice a big change in how Pepper greets people, how he barks MUCH less, and settles in more quickly during different situations. Even after Pepper graduated Nicole continues to follow up with us to see how Pepper continues to progress! I cannot recommend Nicole enough. We'll definitely be using her for all of our training moving forward.

A Tail of Two Puppies: Olive’s Journey (a Mike Litrenta joint) This training is worth every penny. Not only does Nicole return your dog perfectly trained but Nicole’s training allows you to enjoy your dog’s personality and idiosyncrasies without the negative behaviors. Nicole completely changed our dog in all the best ways possible. Here’s our story: Our family has an energetic, goofy English Chocolate lab named Olive. “Chocolate Thunder” (as she’s lovingly referred to) weighs in close to the 100-lb mark. Before Nicole, I detested walking Olive. She pulled me, she didn’t listen, and her strength made it difficult to control her when she got excited around another dog or person. I was the only one that could walk Olive and it was a workout. I knew Olive needed better training but I’m stubborn and didn’t want to admit that I couldn’t train my dog. Finally, it happened. One day while walking Olive she pulled so hard (I wasn’t ready for it) that she pulled me down stairs. Our family contacted Nicole for help. Nicole put Olive through a loving yet rigorous training schedule. When I met with Nicole at the half way point and walked Olive…I was shocked. She heeled. She listened. She sat. She stayed. She placed. She came when called. Even in high pedestrian areas, Nicole trained Olive to focus on her humans; her pack. I was astounded! When training was complete, Nicole returned Olive to our home and then spent another hour and a half walking us through Olive’s training and commands. As I write this review, I can tell you Olive is still perfectly trained. I’m able to take her to Anne Springs Greenway, off leash, and can completely control her. Now, I can take Olive everywhere. My 5-year old son walks her with ease. Nicole’s training is remarkable. Highly, highly recommend. This is one of the best investments I have ever made. Thanks, Nicole. You’re a ROCKSTAR!!!

I’d give Nicole 10 stars if possible! This was a big investment and I can say confidently it was more than worth it. Nicole’s hard work with our pup has made our lives easier on a daily basis. We can actually enjoy time with our dog instead of having it feel like work. She gave us confidence in being able to continue the process at home. Nicole has also been easy to each and accessible 100% of the time we’ve needed anything at all. She is a gift!

I was hesitant to get a puppy. My children and my husband were begging for years for a pet dog. I was not ready to add more responsibility to our home and also had an overwhelming feeling that I didn’t know what I was doing with a puppy. After months of asking, I finally caved with getting a puppy on one condition! That we would participate in dog training. We decided to use Carolina Dogs. This was the best decision ever for our family! Nicole started working with our Aussiedoodle, Lolly, when she was a few months old. The training was not only for our puppy, but it was also training for me on how to communicate with our puppy effectively. Nicole taught me about Lolly’s temperament and how to help her be successful in situations that might otherwise scare her. We worked on place, stay, loose leash walking, how to act in public and so much more! Lolly is now one, and has traveled to the beach 3 times, explored different parks, been inside stores and roamed all over our neighborhood. I feel confident with Lolly’s behavior in public. I can’t thank Nicole enough for the gift she has given us with a trained dog. My once anxiety filled -self with a puppy, now can’t imagine life without our Lolly. A dog is a big commitment, trust Carolina Dogs and that dog will soon be a family member.

Words cannot describe the impact that Nicole has made on our family with our labradoodle, Hank. As a busy family of 5, we knew we needed help getting not only our puppy trained but also giving me, my husband, and 3 daughters the tools and knowledge we needed to enjoy life with our sweet Hank. Within just a week of training, we saw the biggest change in Hank’s demeanor…he stopped jumping on strangers, he began walking on a loose leash and we even took him to a restaurant and he sat the entire time we enjoyed our dinner! We have been overwhelmed with the results of Nicole’s training and so proud when our family and friends comment on how well-behaved Hank has become. We are so incredibly thankful for Nicole and continue to sing her praises to all our friends.
