Trouwe Hond K-9

I sent my german shepherd to Trouwe Hond for some behavioral issues I was looking to address before it became a bigger issue. Not only did Dave instill the confidence in me from day 1 that he could help with these problems, but he was realistic and honest with what this training would require in order to get the behavior changes that I was looking for. I am SO pleased with all the work he did with my girl and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to properly and safely train their dogs. He truly understands dogs, their behaviors and how to safely train them. He loves and cares for them as if they're his own which is comforting to know that they are in good hands while they are away.

I am extremely grateful that I found Dave at Trouwe Hond K-9 to help me with my dominant, skittish, and disobedient 2 year old GSD Zeke. I chose the two week board and train which Included three individual sessions that I attended and the outcome was remarkable. Dave provided me with updates, pictures/videos throughout his stay and always responded to my emails in a timely manner. I have had Zeke home for a few weeks now and I could not be happier with how much progress he has made. I cannot thank Dave enough for all the hard work he put in training both Zeke and myself as an owner. I will definitely be using Trouwe Hond K-9 for any training needs that may come about in the future!

We had a great experience working with Dave. Our Aussie, Juniper, was over excited meeting new people and did not loose leash walk. We visited Dave for a consultation and felt confident that he was a capable trainer who would guide us to a better relationship with our dog. I was struck by how immaculately clean the facilities are and how Dave quickly diagnosed our issues. After one week, we were handed the leash with a clean slate and recieved first-class people training on how to transition Juniper back into our routine WITHOUT the bad habits we were unknowingly encouraging. We are happy with the service we received and recommend Trouwe Hond.

Brought in Odin who was destructive ( scratching doors), clearing counters if left unattended, if he wanted something he would rip it down, eat it, or go over it. He was basically a jerk, and my wife and grandchildren just wanted him gone. He spent two weeks with Dave and he is a completely different dog. He is more relaxed, he walks great on the leash with no tugging, he hasn't destroyed anything, he's not stealing things and shredding them, and we can take out to places. Not only did Dave train the dog, more importantly he trained us. What I'm trying to say is that he is now a great dog that my wife and grandchildren are enjoying.
