FirstBarkSteve and Mi Chung trained an emotional support dog for my grandson. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The training was extensive and Max had to stay for weeks. I know a lot of time and care went into the training. I could see that Mi Chung was teary as we pulled away. Max has been a great comfort to our grandson and I still send pics to Steve.

Tucson K-9 Learning Center provides comprehensive dog training at a five-acre ranch in Tucson, Arizona. The center specializes in two-week board-and-train programs, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, puppy development, off-leash training, protection dog training, therapy dog training, service dog training, scent detection, narcotics detection, and rattlesnake avoidance training. Training methods are modeled after military working-dog techniques and use physical and verbal praise rather than treats, clickers, or e-collars. The two-week board-and-train program includes three private follow-up instruction sessions after pickup.

I took my dog Barkley to Tucson K-9 last May and I am so happy I did. My dog is very high energy and I had difficulty getting him to calm down and listen to commands. After going to Steve I am able to get him to focus just by saying "no". He still tries to pull while he's on a leash but as soon as I correct him he falls back and walks in line with me. He also learned the commands sit and place. Simple things such as these have dramatically improved my relationship with my dog and I am so thankful! Thanks to the snake aversion training he steers clear of anything snake shaped.

Highly recommend Tucson K-9. My doberman puppy did the board and train and the snake training. Steve went above and beyond in training and taking care of my puppy. He even posted his ears. And the snake training was very effective as well. Over a year after training, there was a massive rattlesnake in our yard. My doberman let out a huge growl, then bark and he kept alerting. He kept all the other dogs on the property safe, as well as my husband and I. I have a protective and very obedient doberman, and I really can’t thank Steve enough.

I brought my Belgian Malinois to this place and they did a phenomenal job! Steve is a great guy with a lot of patients for his customers, both human and k-9. He guided me through the process carefully and delivered the promised services. Bella, my dog, is now super obedient and much calmer. Worth every dollar! Highly recommend!
