Tucson K-9 Learning Center provides comprehensive dog training at a five-acre ranch in Tucson, Arizona. The center specializes in two-week board-and-train programs, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, puppy development, off-leash training, protection dog training, therapy dog training, service dog training, scent detection, narcotics detection, and rattlesnake avoidance training. Training methods are modeled after military working-dog techniques and use physical and verbal praise rather than treats, clickers, or e-collars. The two-week board-and-train program includes three private follow-up instruction sessions after pickup.

I took my dog to get rattlesnake avoidance training and I absolutely recommend it to everyone. My dog went right up to the snake they had to sniff it and she got shocked, she did it again and got shocked. After that she would not go near it. Just came back from her 2-4 week re-check and she would not go near it. The trainer moved the snake closer and she freaked out and booked it inside. She totally retained the training and I feel extremely confident if she encounters a snake at home or in the desert. They are also a great price! One time payment of $100 for the initial training, 2-4 week re-check, and annual re-checks. I couldn't recommend them more, go get your dog trained!
