Turning Point Dog Training

I have been working with Anthony for almost 2 years now & he has done such an amazing job working with my dog Xylo. I started at turning point after my dog started showing signs of fear aggression & they have been nothing but helpful & informative every step of the way!! There was a point in time I would not have been able to take Xylo to public parks because of his fear aggression, but thanks to Anthony & the rest of the team, Xylo now enjoys his time when we go to Edgewater Park! Anthony and his team have been fabulous in helping us with our dogs. They have proven that no situation is too challenging to work through and took us as the owners where we were at. They also worked with our foster pup to make him more ready for a forever home and we are eternally grateful for that. Finally, they have a day care setting that can support our reactive dogs and allow them to learn how to socialize correctly. Pics of our troublemakers included :)

It has been about 4 weeks now since my dog and I have completed a 3 week board and train with Paige. So many aspects of our day to day routine have improved including my fear of going out on walks in our very busy neighborhood. And of course this all has helped me regain my mental sanity. Aside from general anxious/hyper tendencies, my dog also had a bad experience of being bit, and their very defensive owner which lead to him having some specific reactivity issues. Paige worked hard to encourage that he can feel safe. I can now proudly say that we go on several walks a day, have continued to practice and have fun in busier areas with a variety of “obstacles” and it keeps getting better and better. Paige was very attentive, organized, diligent, and proactive to our needs and beyond. Being fully aware that this process can be overwhelming, Paige was extremely sensitive to this and made sure that me and my family can learn at our own pace, everything was thoroughly communicated and nothing was rushed. On our first follow-up we had time and space for a small off leash activity and it was a great starter to some other goals down the road. I also need to state that this is a community that continues to facilitate pack walks for their clients who finished a training with them and other events. They are all very welcoming, well equipped, informative, and friendly! Thank you Paige and to all the techs and trainers at TPDT crew for all your hard work and helping me and my dog form an even stronger bond! You guys rock! I’m gonna go cry now!
