UberDog Training

We got a new Weimaraner puppy and having owned this breed before we knew training was an investment that we had to make. We researched and asked around and finally decided to book an in home demo with UberDog. Katrina came to our home and after her demo we were really impressed. We signed up and started right away with the classes. Our puppy is now 9 months old and has been going to UberDog classes for 5 months. We constantly say how we are so glad we invested the money in the training. He is very well behaved and walks impeccably on a leash. Everyone that comes in contact with him is amazed that he is so well trained and we give all the credit to UberDog. This training is worth every penny. The trainers are great and really care about your dog's success. I would highly recommend UberDog!

My wife and I and our two boys (ages 10.5 and 9) are VERY, VERY HAPPY with UberDog Training and Greg and Katrina. We got our English Golden Retriever, Blu, in August of 2013 as an eight week old puppy. Since Blu was our first family dog, we began researching and interviewing dog trainers about a month before we got Blu. We were immediately impressed with UberDog Training and their approach to training along with the experience, knowledge, expertise and reputation that Greg and Katrina brought to the table. They were the clear and easy choice. I wish all decisions were that simple. Everything from the one-on-one sessions to the group sessions are EXTREMELY helpful and informative. Blu is a "regular" at the group sessions and he loves being around all of the wonderful dogs that are associated with UberDog Training. Greg and Katrina do such an outstanding job of running their business. You can tell that they are very dedicated to having you achieve success and having an UberDog. Well Blu is an UberDog and he is only going to improve more and more after each group session that he attends. Blu is now 9.5 months old and he is a happy, loved, and well-trained dog and we are absolutely ecstatic about our future with UberDog Training. I highly recommend UberDog Training for your dog. UberDog Training is AMAZING. 100% worth the money. It's amazing what they can help you accomplish with your dog. The best part is, they teach YOU how to train your dog, so the training is much more successful. It is catered to each dog's individual personality. Greg & Katrina's devotion and caring shines through in their work. I have a Great Dane and a medium size mix, both of which used to drag me all over the place, run away if they got out, jump all over people, and just flat out didn't listen to me. Not to mention, my Great Dane was extremely scared of men. Greg & Katrina worked with me on training not only one, but two dogs on my own. Now, my dogs walk beside me off leash, don't ever run away, have door manners, have significantly improved confidence, and are just purely enjoyable dogs now! The group classes that continue (for the life of your dog!) after private lessons are complete are just the cherry on top. You and your dog can always improve things or just work on fun stuff! Uberdog was initially recommended by my Golden's breeder. Katrina and Greg help you to begin to understand how to teach your dog the focus needed to learn first the basic commands and then the more difficult ones. I started with them when Champ was 4 months old, and almost immediately started to get comments from strangers on how well behaved he was in public. After 4 one-on-one training sessions in your own home, you choose group lessons at various times and locations through out the greater Charlotte area. They also have lessons for learning tricks and agility. The group lessons are a great time to deepen the bond with your dog, as well as just being fun. It has been so rewarding to see Champ learn so much. I have also had a chance to watch others with their dogs, and seen them make amazing strides with their individual dog's needs. I would highly recommend Uberdog to anyone wanting to learn how to train their dog and have a great time doing it!

We are so happy we chose Uberdog to help us train our mixed breed dog Lucky. Before Uberdog we would keep Lucky on a leash in the house because of abundance of energy and negative behaviors such as jumping, nipping, stealing etc. We tried pet store group training classes and Lucky was so distracted by the other dogs in the class that he would't listen to us to learn basic commands. With the first few in home lessons with Uberdog Lucky started to learn basic commands and walk better on a leash. Katrina also help us work on stopping the negative behaviors at home. When Lucky started his group class we couldn't believe that he was the same dog. He would listen to our commands and was more focused on us than all of the other dogs in the class. We have been going to weekly group classes now for about 5 months and Lucky continues to amaze us, and he really seems to enjoy classes as well. He has become a great family pet and we are thankful to Katrina and Greg at Uberdog for helping to make it happen.
