Willie responded very well to the training and Jolene spent time with us to insure the training carried over once we returned home with him. I highly recommend Joe Cruz - Ultimate Canine for training. He came to my house, because I wanted to train her where we live. It was very beneficial to be shown and taught what I needed to do as well as my pupper. Joe is great and Mocha Latté absolutely loved him. Towards the end of her training, we went to places that I would be going with her occasionally. This has really helped when we go there now, she knows just how to behave. I would recommend Joe to everyone I know.

We recently dropped our golden doodle puppy off at Ultimate Canine for their two-week training program after hearing great things from friends and family. Although we missed him, the results were worth every bit of the investment. Even after just one day home, the change is incredible. He is still very much a young puppy, but he is already far more obedient, walks calmly on a leash, and responds to commands with confidence. It feels like the foundation was set for a much smoother experience as he grows. The transition lesson with our trainer Joe was especially valuable. He was knowledgeable, patient, and practical in showing us how to communicate with our dog effectively. He walked us through how our puppy interprets cues, why certain behaviors happen, and what we can do to reinforce good habits at home. It genuinely feels like we now understand how to “speak” to our dog in a way that makes sense for both sides, and it has already changed the relationship we have with him. We would highly recommend Ultimate Canine to anyone considering training. It is not the cheapest option, but based on the trajectory we are seeing, it is absolutely worth it. When we got our English Cream Golden Retriever Mac at 8 weeks old, we wanted to start him right by working with a trainer. We had 2 young grandchildren that we watch regularly and we wanted him to be a polite and obedient dog that we could trust around the girls. We bought a 10 pack of lessons from Ultimate Canine and have been working with Carissa for the last 6 months. Carissa has an amazing connection with Mac and we have used our lessons in the home setting, at the Ultimate Canine facility, and out and about in stores or shopping centers to get Mac socialized and familiar with all the basic commands. This is the first time we have ever taken the time to start training a dog this early and I would highly recommend it. It has made a world of difference with how comfortable we feel taking Mac out, how responsive he is to commands, and how well he behaves around people. Every time we would get together we would talk about his progress and discuss any issues or additional areas we wanted to work on with training. I would highly recommend Carissa as a trainer!! We have also boarded Mac at the Ultimate Canine facility and I am very impressed with their attention to detail, options for services during boarding, and how they really try to get the dogs out as much as possible to play/interact. Great facility!
