Complete waste of a lot of money & time!! We had our shepherd do basic level Day training- 2 weeks for $2,450 and I’m pretty sure he was just put in a kennel all day and worked with once or twice. We worked with him in the evenings and didn’t see much progress. He was shaking and scared when we would pick him up. When I asked owner what we needed to do to make progress he stated that it was on us because we had more than one family member do pickup at the end of every night and it was inconsistent… really? We bought our shepherd at 16weeks old and started training at the 6 month mark. I thought may have been too soon but after inquiring with the owner at K9, he assured us that it was fine and he would still retain learned markers. We got ONE “report card” and then checked the app nightly wondering if there would be more communication but nope! At the last “training” session the owner met with myself, my husband and our 2 teens to go over learned behavior & markers to continue training at home, except our pup didn’t even respond to much of his supposed training. At that point we were told “he must just be exhausted”….Seriously don’t waste your money!! You’ll be starting from scratch like we are now.

When I dropped off my 9 month old German Shepherd Hellboy, his impulse control, heel, recall, leash manners and general obedience were pretty minimal and not in good shape. On walks he’d cross in front of me and trip up my legs, pull when excited or wanted to chase birds/squirrels. He was too rowdy, would jump on people and at other dogs, refused to listen when excited, and would come when called 40-50% of the time. He was a good boy otherwise just insanely excitable and silly. It became too anxious for me to take him out in public because he wouldn’t behave. After completing his program I’ve picked up a completely different pup but still the same pup! Hellboy is still very much the sweet, loving, goofy puppy he’s always been but he is so much more calm, controlled, and obedient. He is perfectly calm and still when other animals/people go by or approach him/us, obeys when I command him the first time, constantly looks to me for guidance/direction, and heels so well I’m honestly blown away. All of the before mentioned issues are completely gone and our time outside the facility has been so pleasant since he left! The difference between the pup I dropped off vs. the pup I picked up has me genuinely amazed. This is an amazing team 10/10, 100% recommend to literally anyone with a dog.

I highly recommend Kenny and his staff! I brought my 8 lb dog to his facility to help her with separation anxiety and her behavior around food. He was amazing and the results were life changing! The most valuable part of the training was the in home visits after she came home. He helped me realize that my reactions to her behavior, trigger her bad behavior. His expertise and patience with my dog was amazing and I highly recommend Kenny! She's like a new dog🤗

WOW! Just WOW! I am really speechless at what Kenneth was able to accomplish with my 2.5 year old Doberman, Arlo. After much research and a few different training consults I bit the bullet with a 4 week board and train with Unleashed K9. Arlo is a LOT of dog, physically and mentally--he had no recall, chose when and what commands he wanted to listen to, anxious (turns out from being bored), impossible to walk on leash--honestly you name it and we struggled. I had anxiety bringing him anywhere or trying to do anything with him because it was nightmare. I knew he had potential, but I really had a hard time believing that he would be able to make much progress with him in 4 weeks. Progress is hardly the right word because I feel like I have an entirely new dog when I picked him up. I left the from pick up feeling incredibly well prepared to be able to transition Arlo back home and continue with the training. It is a lot of information, but Kenneth was so great about answering questions and made it very clear that he is there to help in the future. Kenneth had Arlo doing scent/detection work to keep his brain busy and give us an outlet for him at home. We fully plan to continue training with Unleashed K9 obedience, but also hopefully continue detection work. I am genuinely excited to continue to work with my dog, bring him places, and not be stressed when I have company over. It is a big financial investment, but I seriously cannot recommend just taking the leap if you have as stubborn/poorly trained pup. I was so worried my dog was a lost cause and it was going to be money not well spent, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Kenneth, I cannot thank you enough and we will be seeing you very soon—I know Arlo will be just as excited!!
