Up A Level K9

I can not say enough good things about Karen and her team. Karen worked with my Australian shepherd, Finn, for a month. I did my part during that time and did the homework she gave me. I brought home a dog that was happier, listened, and whose behavior was a night and day transformation. My advice to anyone would be, do not hesitate. Karen is some sort of dog whisperer... you and your pup will be glad you trained at Up A Level K9.

Karen and her Up a Level K9 team are PHENOMENAL!! We were worried about leaving our 7 month golden retriever puppy for 3 weeks, but that fear quickly subsided due to Karen’s constant communication and welcoming nature at Dogville. The team sent daily videos and pictures showing our dog’s progress. They took our dog out in public at restaurants and parks for training sessions, which truly sets this program apart from anything else. 10/10 experience for both us and our dog, would recommend Karen and Up a Level K9 to anyone and everyone!

It was daunting to leave my dog with someone new for an extended period of time. He was born with severe hip dysplasia and can experience some pain during certain activities. Being able to differentiate when he was in pain vs. when he was being obstinate was very difficult for me. I would not have gone through with an advanced training program, if it hadn't been for Karen and her team. With her previous background in medicine as well as her and Calebs ability to teach dogs consistency and what is to be expected of them in varying environments, they did an incredible job with my border collie. Karen makes you and your beloved companion feel like family when you walk through the doors. Being able to see his progress in the video updates and his ability to work with multiple handlers was amazing. I would highly recommend UP A LEVEL K9, the staff is top notch and the property is a doggy sanctuary.

I cannot express enough how grateful we are for Karen, Caleb & Callie - nor will I ever stop talking about how amazing of an experience we had with UpALevelK9 in Sturgeon Bay. We felt so at ease over the 3 week stay or dog had training - it felt as if he was away at a trusted family member’s home. There are MANY things that set Karen & her program apart from every other trainer - but a few to touch base on in this small blerb being - daily video updates, seeing first hand what they were up to that day, what they’re learning, seeing their progress but more importantly how happy & comfortable your dog is there. Videos don’t lie. Additionally, the real life scenarios & training - the field trips into town, testing your dog in real scenarios you’ll experience once home not just stuck in an indoor training facility. Lastly, the continuous support & connection she offers after training. You’re not thrown to the sharks to sink or swim nor are you alone when faced with questions, concerns or looking for help. She has so many tools and outlets available to you for life as an alumni that gives you peace of mind. We are so thankful for Karen, Caleb & Callie. Forever will be!!

By far the greatest investment you can make for your dog (and for yourself). Before meeting Karen, I was feeling lost, frustrated, and like I was failing my pup. There is so much conflicting information put out on the web from various dog trainers and it was hard to know what my puppy Otis needed specifically. Karen right away eased my mind with the first phone call and the moment I met her and left Otis with her, I felt confident he was in the right place. The time, dedication, and precision in her and her team’s training blew me away. She reads your dog like a book and seeing the results upon getting him back was simply incredible! Also very happy he bonded so well with his trainer, Caleb!! I could tell they were instant buddies! Thank you, Karen and team! Forever grateful!!
