Up A Level K9

Incredible experience. The talented trainers at Up A Level K9 went above and beyond our expectations. We came to them with a dog who had some behavioral issues, and since we love our pup we sought professional help. Karen (the owner) made us feel so at ease, she was compassionate but also commanding with the dogs. We opted for the 3-4 week training program because we wanted to make sure our pup got the best results. We saw vast improvements in his behavior so quickly, and Karen made sure to send video updates about his training several times a week. It's hard to be away from our furry best friends, but Up A Level K9 made that transition easier with the detailed updates. One of the best compliments I can give is that they are honest about your dogs behavior. If the dog is being a jerk, they will let you know so you can work with them to correct it. Some trainers sugar coat it and that doesn't help you or the pup. We are continuing to work with our pup but thanks to the great foundation that Karen and the rest of UpALevelK9 have set with our dog, we are continuing to see major improvements! Can't recommend them enough.

Karen is amazing! She was everything I was looking for and more. I got a Border Collie named Rose in August. I did research and watched many videos to train her myself but did not see the results I was looking for. I decided to try a more formal training approach and I’m so glad that I found Karen. After 3 weeks, Rose is a new dog, she listens to me, knows how to chill, enjoys training, doesn’t chew on stuff, isn’t reactive towards my other dog, she comes when called, etc. Because of Karen, Rose is exactly what I had hoped for in a dog. She helps you create a language with your dog that allows you to communicate with them. You can tell that she is not only very passionate about what she does, but is also very educated in dog training. She continues to seek out new information and stay up to date with the best methods for her work. As a new dog owner, I was worried about leaving my dog alone anywhere. Karen offered for me to come see the facility and was very transparent with me about all of my concerns. Her facility is SO CLEAN and smells great. You can tell that she cares deeply for the animals in her care and treats them as if they are her own. Rose loves being there. Karen builds a personal relationship with you and your dog and makes you feel like a priority. She takes calls and texts outside of the training sessions. She also sends you text updates with pictures and videos while your dog is away. Even after Roses training has ended, Karen loves to see updates of her progress and still answers any new questions that come up. With her extensive experience with dogs, beyond training, Karen has helped me find a better food for my dog to be on, she has helped me with an injury that Rose got while at home, connected me with another client for Rose to have doggy friend play dates with and she has become a friend. I can assure you that Karen eases any worries you may have leaving your dog with a stranger. She doesn’t stay a stranger for long. Her training and work with Rose and I has changed our relationship and home. I could not say enough good things about my experience with Karen, she is truly a joy to work with!
