Upstate Dog Academy

I had met James during a free training session at Greenville County Pet Rescue shortly after I adopted my chocolate lab mix Bonnie. She would pull very hard while walking on the leash to the point where it seemed like she would hurt herself. Within ten minutes, James had Bonnie walking on the leash without pulling at all and sitting by his side waiting for her next command. Now she is great on the leash and I can enjoy nice long walks with her. She needed some more training for her hyper behavior around the house so I had James come over to work on some things. It was fantastic. As soon as he entered the apartment, her behavior started to change. He is seriously like the dog whisperer. Just his presence made Bonnie calmer, more attentive, and she responded to commands like she never had before. The training session was extremely educational for myself as it became clear that I had no idea what I was doing until then. I can't wait to continue to work with Bonnie on these different commands and see how she progresses. I will definitely be a returning customer of Upstate Dog Academy. Thanks James!

James and his staff at Upstate Dog Academy are awesome! We were at our wits end with a new puppy biting our children and their friends. When we got Sophie back she no longer has those behavioral issues, and she listens so well. Our kids now love having Sophie around! James is very responsive to phone calls and keeps you updated with the dog's training. I would definitely recommend Update Dog Academy.

Another great experience with boarding my dog this time! Been bringing mine here since they opened up. Bentley comes back and just seems refreshed and happy every time. You can tell he gets the interaction and attention that he needs while he's there. Have another trip in a couple of weeks and will be bringing him back again. Would easily recommend anyone to this place. Keep it up guys! -Jon
