That so called trainer lost friends dog in 1 day. They told me that they saw a bunch of yellow generic sign sticking all over the place they rescued the dog after being abused and neglected he was a great dog very sweet so I told my friend I'd check the place out after already taken him that same day I went I told him he doesn't like to be tied up and you can't leave him alone he's very smart .Then I saw he had a refrigerator stocked full of beer as he opened it and ask me if I wanted one as he grabbed one I noticed he had a trash can with empties I told him I don't drink. Within 30 minutes I spoke with my friend and said get the dog I dont trust the dude.The next day he called me and said the dog got loose and pulled his head out off the collar. (He didn't use the harness I gave him for the dog BUT ANOTHER DOGS COLLAR with smells of other dogs on it )and he couldn't find him because,His words "he tied him up to a pole and went inside to get more dogs to walk at the same time." I guess he doesn't listen now dog is most likely dead I looked for the dog night and day everyday in rain and storms, because he was afraid of Thunder and loud noises for 3 year straight leaving flyers and talking to ppl. He works his so-called business out of his house a block off speed cars from trashy white horse rd.And he calls it an Academy lol..And he puts his signs generic yellow signs with black letters everywhere get ppls money 💰.Ask him where he got his training 🙄 ask him for any kind of certification ask and see all his place before you lose your best friend forever. I spoke while looking for the dog to his niebors and one guy said he losses dogs all the time, Another said no one likes that him and doesn't know how he gets away with working out of his house even though they've called the county for outdoor kennels everywhere and it is trashy looking, but it is white horse rd area . Why would anyone drop off their best friend and family member to someones house that you don't know and is block away from one of the busiest roads around were ppl that have been hit and killed on that road Google all the accidents on that road . I'm just trying to save your animal and you from the heart ache of feeling a forever loss . That's why I left this post if I can save one dog it's worth it.

I cant say enough about the Daycare at Upstate. I wanted my dog to interact with other dogs because my dog is a pug i had to make sure when i drop him off he is in good hands I first called spoke with JR had a great conversation then when I met him JR I could feel he was a genuine good person and I felt comfortable leaving my baby there. I am glad I did my dog has learn so much just from daycare my dog gets so excited to go everyday he loves everyone and every dog I would highly recommend this daycare me and my dog couldn't image our lives without the daycare James, JR, Corey, and Rachel are just wonderful people who are wonderful with dogs.

My fiancée and I sent our 1 year old puppy Rylo to be trained and after researching different places, we decided to go with Upstate Dog Academy. James did an amazing job training Rylo with love and patience. We were able to see him throughout his training in different settings to really see his progress. Rylo came home practically a new dog. We highly recommend Upstate Dog Academy to anyone who is in need of assistance with training their furry family member.
